In order to exploit the potential and advantages of the locality, aiming to develop a modern and sustainable agricultural sector, in recent years, many households, enterprises and cooperatives in Ea H'leo district have focused on implementing linkage chains in the production and consumption of agricultural products.
Trong Phu Sustainable Agriculture Cooperative (Ea Hiao commune) has 14 member households with 30 hectares of coffee grown according to organic processes, in association with Intimex Group Joint Stock Company - branch in Buon Ma Thuot.
Mr. Nguyen Van Duong, Deputy Director of the Cooperative, said that when joining the association, the Cooperative is supported by the enterprise with a greenhouse system, machinery and technical guidance on producing and processing coffee to meet high quality standards. Each year, the company purchases over 1,000 tons of high-quality coffee from the Cooperative at a price 10,000 - 15,000 VND/kg higher than the market price, bringing high income to the people.

With the aim of improving the quality and value of products according to the safe supply chain, Trong Phu Sustainable Agriculture Cooperative has also expanded its scale of operations, linking with many households in the commune to produce coffee according to organic processes. Thanks to the production linkage with Trong Phu Sustainable Agriculture Cooperative, in recent years, many coffee growing households in Ea Hiao commune no longer face the situation of being forced to lower prices by traders. Production according to the linked chain not only helps ensure stable output but also increases product value and income.
Ea H'leo district currently has 45 cooperatives and 25 agricultural cooperative groups, most of which are linked with businesses in the production and consumption of agricultural products, creating high-quality products that are favored by the market, including 10 products that meet OCOP 3-star and 4-star standards. |
In Ea Sol commune, macadamia is a new crop and is proving to be more economically efficient than other crops. However, in previous years, due to the fragmented cultivation based on traditional experience, the output was unstable and the market did not appreciate it highly...
In early 2023, Mr. Vu Dinh Son in Ea Yu village (Ea Sol commune) gathered more than 30 households in the area to establish Son Nu Macadamia Cooperative with a total production area of 100 hectares.
Participating in the linkage model, farmers are supported with seeds, deferred payment fertilizers, and product consumption.
To have quality output products, the cooperative also builds regulations, requires members to take care of them according to technical procedures, ensure food safety and hygiene; has a notebook to record the care process, fertilization time, and reasonable use of pesticides.
With a systematic, scientific approach and strict adherence to the process, macadamia gardens have achieved 20-30% higher productivity than before, with consistent, beautiful fruit quality and few pests. The cooperative's macadamia products are currently completing the OCOP product registration dossier.

Accordingly, in many communes and towns, farming households have proactively and actively participated and established cooperatives and cooperative groups, aiming to link up to build concentrated raw material areas, apply advanced technology in production to improve productivity and quality of agricultural products.
