The group "Vietnamese Dao People - Connecting from Identity" has just coordinated with a group of Dao ethnic students in Hanoi to organize the 4th welcoming ceremony for new Dao ethnic students to study in Hanoi.
The ceremony took place solemnly at the Hanoi Museum on the morning of October 19 with the participation of more than 100 students, new students, and delegates who are Dao people living and working in Hanoi.
Many new Dao students from the highland provinces coming to Hanoi could not hide their honor and pride when being welcomed in a warm and friendly manner. These will be memorable memories for them when entering student life in the capital.
Phan Thi Tinh, a new student at the Vietnam Women's Academy, said: "When I first came to Hanoi to study, I was very unfamiliar, but thanks to the help of the group "Vietnamese Dao People - Connected by Identity", a group of Dao ethnic students in Hanoi, I feel much more confident. This is also a blessing for me and many new Dao students when coming to Hanoi to study. Because in addition to material support, we also receive great spiritual support and encouragement."

Trieu Thanh Hieu, a student at the Youth Academy, shared: “Since joining the group "Vietnamese Dao People - Connecting from Identity", we feel that we always have a sense of responsibility to help new students, because when we first came to Hanoi to study, we also received help from the aunts, uncles, and brothers and sisters in the group. These are also actions to help the Dao group operate more practically and effectively, bringing many benefits to help Dao students during their life and study in Hanoi".
At the exchange meeting, after the performance, Dr. Ban Tuan Nang, Head of the representative board of the group "Vietnamese Dao People - Connecting from Identity" said: "After many years of operation, the group has been very successful in connecting, especially supporting Dao students to study in Hanoi. Today's welcoming ceremony for new Dao students, we organized with the desire to encourage and motivate new students, helping them to be more confident in life. Hopefully, during the process of studying and living in Hanoi, students will always feel that there is a community that is connected and supports each other".
Also at this ceremony, many meaningful gifts were given to Dao students. In particular, 13 gifts including 3 motorbikes and 10 new and used computers donated by many benefactors from all over the country were given to new students with difficult circumstances.
