The province has determined to mobilize, utilize, and fully promote public investment resources. In particular, it focuses on accelerating the progress of the key project of the Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tra Linh (Cao Bang) Expressway, accounting for about 46% of the public investment capital plan for 2025 of Cao Bang province.
At the same time, over 7,000 billion VND from organizations, businesses and residents were put into the economy to promote growth.
This capital source will create conditions for localities to support the acceleration of construction progress to complete private investment projects and put them into production; create social resources to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province...
In addition, Cao Bang strives for a growth rate of about 8.5% in the trade and service sector. It is expected that the locality will attract about 2.5 million visitors, including about 200,000 international visitors. The border gate economy continues to have room for development, with the import-export turnover target through the area reaching about 710 million USD, and the total revenue from import-export activities reaching about 690 billion VND.
The province is determined to improve the productivity, quality, value and competitiveness of local agricultural products.
In particular, expanding the area, productivity and output of local high-value crops and livestock such as black jelly, sugarcane, arrowroot, and forestry trees; improving the quality of growing areas according to standards and regulations (organic, VietGAP, GlobalGAP...); promoting the building of agricultural product brands, enhancing value and competitiveness are the main growth drivers of the agricultural sector in the province.

At the same time, promptly approve the planning task of Ban Gioc Waterfall, Dam Thuy Commune, Trung Khanh District, Cao Bang Province; promptly transfer 131 billion VND to support the implementation of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for the province; consider submitting to the Prime Minister for additional budget capital in 2025 to invest in synchronous construction of regional traffic infrastructure, linking with the Dong Dang (Lang Son) - Tra Linh (Cao Bang) Expressway.
It is expected that by the end of the first quarter of 2025, the industrial production value will reach over VND 1,975 billion (up 39.5% over the same period last year). The total number of tourists is estimated at about 467,000 (up 34.7%). The total state budget revenue in the area will increase by 114%, of which: Domestic revenue will increase by 82%, import-export revenue will increase by 172%.
