Among nearly 200 projects and products from 38 Youth Unions under the Central Business Union, with the participation of nearly 600 authors and co-authors, the project "Automatic vehicle monitoring system in the gantry crane - eCPS" by member Le Ha Nam, IT Specialist of Da Nang Port, has excellently entered the top 20 typical projects in the period of 2022-2024 and was honored to be commended and awarded.

The project "Automatic vehicle tracking system in the gantry crane - eCPS" is the first Container tractor positioning system that uses completely artificial intelligence and was first applied at Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company. With the goal of using artificial intelligence to accurately position tractors in the Container gantry crane, eCPS aims to: increase exploitation productivity and modernize the container exploitation line. By self-researching, designing and manufacturing a specialized Artificial Intelligence system in both software and hardware, the "Automatic vehicle tracking system - eCPS" is highly adaptable, serving well in the exploitation and production activities of Da Nang Port. In terms of port exploitation, each container supported by the eCPS vehicle tracking system can shorten the operating time from 10 to 15 seconds. With the exploitation productivity of Da Nang Port reaching 700,000 Teus/year, eCPS benefits nearly 2000 hours/year; The eCPS system is worth approximately VND 11,500,000,000 (Eleven billion, five hundred million VND) by the end of 2024. The eCPS system has been deployed since 2023.
