Overview of the Northern Retirement Meeting
The meeting in the North was held with the participation of comrade Le Anh Son, Chairman of the Board of Directors of VIMC; comrade Doan Thi Thu Huong, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Corporation; comrade Pham Van Hai, Vice Chairman of the Trade Union; comrade Luong Dinh Minh, Head of the Board of Supervisors of the Corporation; and comrades members of the Board of Directors and Heads of specialized departments. In particular, retired cadres from Hanoi, Hai Phong and neighboring provinces, including Mr. Vu Huu Chinh, former Deputy General Director of VIMC, Chairman of the Retirement Club of Hai Phong area; and Mr. Dang Sam, former Vice Chairman of the Trade Union of the Corporation, Chairman of the Retirement Club of Hanoi area were present in large numbers, creating a warm reunion atmosphere.

In the South, the meeting was attended by General Director Nguyen Canh Tinh and retired officials in the Southern region.

At the meeting, the retired staff recalled memorable memories and shared about their years of dedication and dedication. The atmosphere of the event was warm and filled with respect for the great contributions of previous generations. Chairman of the Board of Directors Le Anh Son, on behalf of all staff, expressed his sincere and profound gratitude: “The achievements that VIMC has achieved today all bear the mark of generations of retired staff. It was you, the uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters, who laid the first bricks, building a solid foundation for the Corporation to continue to develop.”

Mr. Vu Huu Chinh, former Deputy General Director of VIMC, said: “Seeing the Corporation continue to develop strongly, I feel extremely proud. That is a testament to the continuous efforts of the next generations.” Mr. Dang Sam, former Vice Chairman of the Corporation’s Trade Union, expressed: “We always hope that the current generations will maintain the tradition of solidarity and creativity so that the Corporation can continue to grow and affirm its position.”

Not only a thank you, the meeting was also an opportunity to express sincere feelings through small gifts and meaningful New Year wishes. In the North, the support fund for the Retirement Clubs in Hanoi and Hai Phong was handed over, as an affirmation that VIMC always respects and cares about the spiritual life of retired cadres. In the South, meaningful gifts were also handed over to retired cadres, along with wishes for health, peace and happiness in the New Year.

In 2024, VIMC had a successful year with very impressive numbers, but for retired staff, it was not just numbers. It was the result of sweat, effort and silent sacrifices throughout the development journey. For them, witnessing the growth and development of the Corporation is the greatest happiness and reward. Entering 2025, the year marking the 30th anniversary of its establishment, VIMC continues to aim for great goals, but does not forget its roots. The stories and words of encouragement from today's retired staff will forever be a flame of inspiration for future generations.
