On January 16, 2025, in the joyful atmosphere of the days before Tet, the visit to the VINASHIP Unity ship led by General Director Nguyen Canh Tinh brought a warm and joyful atmosphere. Also attending were representatives of the board of directors of VINASHIP Shipping Joint Stock Company, including Deputy General Director Le Van Thai, Deputy General Director Doan Minh Than, and officers and crew members on the ship, represented by Captain Nguyen Van Thuy and a team of specialized officers. General Director Nguyen Canh Tinh directly visited, encouraged and personally delivered lucky money envelopes to each officer and crew member. Not only that, the General Director also directly visited and inspected the actual working conditions on the ship such as the cockpit, engine room and ship's side. Meeting each crew member directly, the General Director and the Board of Directors listened to the crew members share about their daily work and conveyed an encouraging message: “The maritime industry needs people who love their job, are steadfast and dedicated to be able to contribute throughout the long journey. You need to have great faith - in the ship, in the unit and in the whole group, because that faith will help us overcome all challenges to achieve greater success.”

During the meeting, the Board of Directors presented Tet gifts to the VINASHIP Unity ship, expressing the sincere affection and care from the Corporation. In response, the crew members expressed their emotions upon receiving this special care. Captain Nguyen Van Thuy, on behalf of all the staff on board, shared: “We are very grateful and appreciate the care from the Corporation's leaders. This is not only a great source of encouragement but also gives us strength to continue to strive. All crew members pledge to do their best to complete the assigned tasks.”

This year, the New Year visit is even more meaningful when VINASHIP Unity - a new ship with a capacity of 28,189 DWT - is put into operation, marking an important turning point in VIMC's strategy to improve its maritime transport capacity. General Director Nguyen Canh Tinh emphasized: “VINASHIP Unity is not only a material asset but also a symbol of VIMC's innovation and aspiration to reach further. This ship opens a new development stage and the first step of a new policy, opening up great opportunities to elevate the entire ecosystem.” He also encouraged crew members to constantly improve their skills, knowledge and improve themselves. At the same time, they should diligently research and come up with creative ideas to optimize operations. In addition, the General Director especially emphasized the importance of safety in all activities: “Safety is a vital principle and the responsibility of each individual as well as the collective. I hope that you will always uphold safety awareness, strictly comply with regulations, and ensure that each voyage takes place smoothly and effectively."
