VIMC accompanies Cao Bang province to build a better life

With the spirit of "mutual love" and profound social responsibility, Vietnam National Shipping Lines (VIMC) implemented a meaningful charity program in Cao Bang province on January 18 and 19, 2025. The delegation led by General Director Nguyen Canh Tinh donated 1 billion VND to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, and visited and gave Tet gifts to people in two resettlement areas sponsored by VIMC in Tong Nga hamlet, The Duc commune and Quang Thuong hamlet, Quang Thanh commune, Nguyen Binh district.

At the ceremony to honor and award the Badge "For the cause of building and developing Cao Bang province" to comrade Tran Hong Minh, member of the Party Central Committee, Minister of Transport, former Secretary of Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, General Director Nguyen Canh Tinh, on behalf of VIMC, presented 1 billion VND to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in Cao Bang province. This is a practical action to improve housing conditions, help people have more solid and safe homes, gradually eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses - a constant concern of many households during the rainy and stormy season. General Director of VIMC, Nguyen Canh Tinh shared: "We understand that a solid roof is not only a place to shelter from the rain and sun but also a foundation for families to stabilize their lives and escape poverty. VIMC is committed to accompanying the government and people of Cao Bang province in social security programs, contributing to building a better life for the people."

General Director Nguyen Canh Tinh emphasized that VIMC will continue to accompany local authorities at all levels, businesses and organizations in supporting people in Nguyen Binh district in particular and Cao Bang province in general, especially in the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses and taking care of families in difficult circumstances and families with meritorious services.
