Việt NamViệt Nam20/03/2025

With the desire to help members facing housing difficulties have more motivation to improve their lives, the Veterans Association at all levels in the area has mobilized many resources, actively contributed money, materials, and working days to support families in removing temporary and dilapidated houses.

Many good and creative ways have been promoted by the association at all levels, contributing to helping localities soon complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses.

Veterans and local people join hands to support the construction of houses for poor households in Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh.

A day of hard work and dedication from the members of the Veteran Masonry Team in Trung Thanh village, Cam Trung commune, Cam Xuyen district. Taking on the task of building the foundation to help veteran Tran Xuan Mau's family build a house, demolish temporary houses, and dilapidated houses, in the past few days, nearly 20 members of the Veterans Association in the village have been mobilized to carry out tasks such as unloading materials, digging holes, pouring concrete foundations... The work is quite hard, but the members of the team are all very enthusiastic, enthusiastically, and do not mind the difficulties.

The Veteran Masonry Team model is a creative way of the Veterans Association at all levels in Ha Tinh to respond to the movement to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. The team gathers veterans with construction skills to participate in providing free support to help families build and repair houses.

In addition to construction-related tasks, members of the group also participate in supporting labor days to help level the ground, transport materials, dismantle old houses, and renovate gardens... Although each locality has a different way of doing things and mobilizing forces, this model has received the consensus and high response of all members.

Cam Xuyen District Veterans Association donated 80 million VND to build houses for people with revolutionary contributions.

Not only participating in contributing working days, establishing masonry teams to help households save money and proactively mobilize human resources to speed up construction progress, but also through the movement to build a 1,000 VND Fund, up to now, the Veterans Association at all levels in the area has mobilized over 1 billion VND to support families in difficult circumstances to build and repair houses.

With the spirit and responsibility of Uncle Ho's soldiers, with solidarity, camaraderie, and comradeship, the veterans who once fought and died for their homeland are active, enthusiastic, and pioneers in every movement and every task. Each newly built house not only adds confidence and motivation to help disadvantaged households improve their lives, but also brings warmth, support, and sharing from the entire community./.
