Earth Hour response activities of Bac Lieu Electricity Company

Earth Hour is a campaign calling for the voluntary participation of the majority of people, offices, and public buildings to turn off lights and unnecessary electrical equipment during Earth Hour. This is a simple symbolic action to remind the community and individuals to care and act to adapt and minimize climate change.

In response to the Earth Hour Campaign 2025 and integrating propaganda for the 50th anniversary of the establishment and development of Vietnam Electricity Corporation, Bac Lieu Electricity Company (the Company) requests departments, offices, factories, centers and affiliated Power Corporations to deploy propaganda and mobilize all employees and workers at the unit to participate in the Run in response to Earth Hour 2025; Online contest "Learn about energy saving in response to Earth Hour 2025" in the form of online through the launching article posted on the EVNSPC fanpage at: https://www.facebook.com/evnspcnews and the EVNSPC website at: https://evnspc.vn/. The competitions will be held in March 2025.

Coordinate with the Trade Union at the same level to propagate and mobilize all employees to actively participate and voluntarily turn off unnecessary lights and electrical equipment at the office and home during the Earth Hour event in 2025. Coordinate with Bac Lieu Provincial Youth Union to develop a detailed plan and scenario to organize the launching ceremony and march in response to the Earth Hour event in 2025, combined with donating 21 bicycles to disadvantaged students who are studious. Conduct a propaganda march (by bicycle, motorbike) to promote the Earth Hour event in 2025 combined with distributing leaflets promoting the use of electricity saving, Earth Hour leaflets in 2025 in densely populated areas, markets, schools, etc. Deploy to branches and mobilize union members to participate in changing their profile pictures on social media accounts to respond to the Earth Hour Campaign in 2025, using the 50th anniversary identity of EVNSPC to integrate propaganda for the event celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Corporation's establishment and development; mobilize all union members - youth and union members to participate in responding, sharing and posting information on personal Facebook and Zalo social networks to promote the Earth Hour event in 2025.

Coordinate with the Southern Electricity Customer Care Center to send messages via Zalo and Customer Care App to all electricity customers in the area to encourage them to participate in the event. Promote and encourage organizations, agencies and customers to turn off lights and unnecessary devices during the Earth Hour event, from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., Saturday, March 22, 2025.
