Authorized by the Chief of the General Department of Politics of the Vietnam People's Army, Colonel Phung Thi Phu, Head of the Military Women's Committee attended and spoke at the conference. Attending the conference were representatives of the Air Defense - Air Force Service (the coordinating host), the School Department (General Staff), representatives of the Faculty of Preschool Education, Hanoi National University of Education, representatives of 13 units with preschool education facilities and 120 managers of preschool education facilities.

Speaking at the conference, Colonel Phung Thi Phu highly appreciated the leadership and direction of agencies and units, as well as the educational work of kindergartens, nurseries, and childcare groups, which have successfully completed the preschool education program and the school year's tasks. Notably, 7 preschool managers and teachers were recognized as Excellent Teachers at the Ministry of National Defense level in 2022; 1 teacher was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Ministry of Education and Training for outstanding and outstanding teachers nationwide on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day; 1 teacher was proposed by the Ministry of National Defense to be awarded the title of Excellent Teacher in 2023. In the 2022-2023 school year, schools across the army mobilized nearly 12,500 school-age children at 66 schools with 214 school locations. The rate of preschool managers and teachers with standard and above-standard training is 92.68%, of which the rate with university and college degrees is 58.23%.

To improve the quality of the 2023-2024 school year, Colonel Phung Thi Phu suggested that leaders and commanders of units with preschool education facilities in the entire army continue to pay attention to and foster the capacity and qualifications of the team of managers and preschool teachers. Preschool education facilities need to closely coordinate with local education agencies in the area of ​​​​their station in terms of professional expertise, promoting the movement "Building friendly schools, active students". The team of managers and preschool teachers must closely follow the school year's tasks, apply them to the practical situation of the unit, do a good job of advising and proposing to the unit, be proactive, creative, develop plans and content according to the program, actively innovate forms of activities, create an environment for organizing learning and playing activities suitable for children.

At the conference, the Military Women's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit from the General Department of Politics to 31 collectives and 57 individuals with outstanding achievements in preschool education in the 2022-2023 school year.

After the summary conference, the Army Women's Committee continued to organize professional training for managers and preschool teachers in the Army in 2023 with two topics: "Implementing preschool education towards developing qualities and capacities for children" conducted by Associate Professor, Dr. Bui Thi Lam, Head of the Department of Preschool Education, Hanoi National University of Education; "Applying the STEAM education model in preschool education" taught by comrade Tran Thi Hang, former Deputy Head of the Department of Preschool Education, Central Pedagogical College.
