The problem is that in the above list, there are 2 names playing in Vietnam: Napadet Bhinijdee (playing for LP Bank Ninh Binh) and Anut Promchan (playing for Lavie Long An).
The duo completed their transfer contract and competed in the first round of the Vietnam National Volleyball Championship, which took place from March 22 to 31 in Hanoi. This created a conflict with the request of the Thai Volleyball Federation.
Coach Pham Phuoc Tien said the team has not received any information from Thailand on this issue. Lavie Long An Club has completed the transfer procedure and signed a contract with Anut Promchan until the end of March 2025.
In the opening match of the national volleyball championship, Anut Promchan played for Lavie Long An and left a good impression in terms of expertise. The contributions of the striker born in 1997 helped the Western team have an important victory against Sanest Khanh Hoa.
Meanwhile, Napadet Bhinijdee also played for LP Bank Ninh Binh, but lost to the stars of the Ho Chi Minh City Police Club.
Previously, to ensure maximum concentration for the national volleyball team, the Volleyball Federation of Thailand did not allow female athletes to compete abroad. These concerns eventually occurred in the men's team.
The Thai men's team tournaments in 2025 are still quite a long way off. The time for Thai men's volleyball to prepare is therefore quite comfortable.
But whether the Thai men's volleyball team will create conditions for the two athletes to compete in Vietnam or immediately request them to return home remains to be seen. The two athletes Napadet Bhinijdee (LP Bank Ninh Binh) and Anut Promchan (Lavie Long An) must find a way to resolve this issue with the national team and the club they signed contracts with in Vietnam.
