In the letter, Minister Dao Ngoc Dung said that in 2023, the entire labor, invalids and social affairs sector overcame many difficulties and challenges, ensuring a stable labor market, employment, and social security for people and social protection beneficiaries.
"Contributing to that common success are the contributions of civil servants, public employees and workers of hospitals, orthopedic and rehabilitation centers, nursing centers for war invalids and meritorious people, social assistance facilities and drug rehabilitation facilities.
Doctors and nurses have united, overcome difficulties, and wholeheartedly cared for the health of wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, people with revolutionary contributions, and social policy beneficiaries as if they were taking care of their own relatives," Minister Dao Ngoc Dung expressed.
According to the head of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, in 2024, the entire sector will continue to implement the motto "Solidarity, discipline, innovation, development", focusing on implementing Resolution 42 on continuing to innovate and improve the quality of social policies, meeting the requirements of national construction and defense in the new period.
In addition, focus on implementing Decision No. 89 and Decision No. 1942 of the Prime Minister on the National Strategy for protecting, caring for and improving people's health until 2030, with a vision to 2045 and the Program to improve the quality of health protection and care for people with revolutionary contributions, the elderly, children, people with disabilities and those in need of social assistance in the 2021-2030 period.
In the field of social labor health, the Minister believes that the collective of cadres, civil servants, public employees and medical staff of the sector will continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, proactiveness, creativity, constantly strive, study and practice medical ethics, and well implement Uncle Ho's teaching "A good doctor is like a mother - A physician is like a kind mother", improve the quality of medical examination and treatment, care and protection of people's health.
