On February 5, at Hoang Truong Border Guard Station, the Border Guard Command of Thanh Hoa province held a launching ceremony for the Tree Planting Festival "Forever grateful to Uncle Ho" Spring At Ty 2025.

The launching ceremony was attended by Colonel Hoang Van Hung, Political Commissar of Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard; representatives of the Provincial Youth Union, Provincial Women's Union; leaders of the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Hoang Hoa District. Also attending were the Head of the Command, officers, soldiers, and youth union members of the Provincial Border Guard Command; Hoang Truong Border Guard Station; Coastal Forest Protection Department; Naval Radar Station 510; Party committees, authorities, organizations, and officers, teachers, and students of Hoang Truong Secondary School, Hoang Hoa District.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, Colonel Hoang Van Hung emphasized: Implementing the instructions and responding to the "Tet tree planting" movement launched by Uncle Ho and the Prime Minister's Project "Planting one billion trees in the period of 2021-2025", in recent years, agencies and units under the Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard have actively and proactively coordinated with local Party committees, authorities and people to plant, care for and protect forests better and better.
At the launching ceremony, officers, soldiers, union members and youth of the Border Guard Station planted 1,200 fruit trees and timber trees in the unit's campus.
Representatives of the Provincial Border Guard Command, leaders of the Provincial Youth Union and the Women's Union of Thanh Hoa province planted trees after the launching ceremony.
The launching ceremony of the Tree Planting Festival was simultaneously deployed by units under the Thanh Hoa Provincial Border Guard Command with a total of more than 6,600 trees assigned according to the plan on the occasion of the organization of "Tree Planting Festival to forever remember Uncle Ho" in the early Spring of At Ty 2025 (symbolizing the 66th anniversary of the Border Guard's Tradition Day).
Up to now, units on the two border lines of the province have coordinated with localities and units to simultaneously plant over 5,000 trees in the unit's premises and in the border communes.
This activity in recent years has brought about many great results, contributing to land and forest conservation, actively protecting the environment, building and developing the socio-economy, enhancing protection capacity, responding to climate change, mitigating natural disasters, improving the quality of the living environment, and improving the material and spiritual life of officers, soldiers and people in the area.
