Time to come back! On March 8, 2025, more than one hundred retired cadres from all member units gathered at the Viglacera love house in the Spring Meeting Ceremony of At Ty 2025 and the Retirement Work Summary of 2025 organized by the Retirement Liaison Committee, Viglacera Corporation - JSC. General Director of Viglacera Corporation - Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan came to express gratitude, congratulate and encourage the spirit of generations of cadres who have devoted themselves to building the Corporation today. Former leaders of Viglacera through many periods were also present at the Ceremony.
The event is not only an opportunity to review proud achievements but also a moment to strengthen comradeship, colleagues, and sustainable connections between generations who have contributed to the development of Viglacera.
The ceremony was honored to welcome the presence of many former leaders and officers of Viglacera Corporation and representatives from member enterprises - those who have devoted their youth and passion to building a strong Viglacera as it is today. In particular, the presence of comrade Tran Ngoc Chinh - Head of the Retired Liaison Committee of the Ministry of Construction, Former Deputy Minister of Construction and many veteran comrades, former leaders of Departments and Branches of the Ministry of Construction and the Vietnam Construction Trade Union. The familiar faces appeared, reminding the old days of the Construction Industry officers accompanying Viglacera during the years of efforts to overcome difficulties and rise up.
Everyone listened seriously to the film "What did we do last year?". The film summarizes 10 achievements and social responsibilities that Viglacera has carried out in 2024.
Comrade Tran Ngoc Chinh - Head of the Retired Liaison Committee of the Ministry of Construction, Former Deputy Minister of Construction - conveyed his admiration for those who created Viglacera's achievements today. At the same time, he encouraged the team of retired cadres to continue to work closely with the Corporation in today's creative labor.
Continuing that warm atmosphere, comrade Nguyen Ba Khien - former Chairman of the Corporation's Trade Union - read the 2025 Retirement Work Summary Report.
The report emphasizes the scale of the Viglacera Corporation Retirement Liaison Committee: Including 30 member Liaison Committees, with a total of 3,653 members, divided into many age groups, with many rich and active activities, maintained continuously over many years.
The solidarity of retired cadres is not only demonstrated through activities such as longevity celebrations and meetings, but also through regular visits, vacations, and annual tours. Viglacera still exists in their minds and lives, not in some distant memory, but in such regular and periodic activities.
Comrade Nguyen Ba Khien also recalled the days when they gathered together at Angsana Quan Lan Ha Long Bay Hotel & Resort on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Corporation's founding. The pride in a Viglacera that has developed steadily and sustainably, continuing to expand with new business lines was mentioned with intact emotions.
Comrade Nguyen Ba Khien, former Chairman of the Corporation's Trade Union, presented the Report on the activities of the Retirement Liaison Committee in 2024 and the Operational Direction for 2025. The exemplary cadres who have made positive contributions to the retirement movement and maintained the spirit of collective solidarity were continuously named...
The summary report also pointed out the achievement of successfully establishing the Colleagues' Affection Fund with 16 grassroots committees. The purpose of the Fund is to support some members in difficulty. The Fund was established and immediately implemented actively at many Retirement Liaison Committees of Hoa Binh, Huu Hung, and Hop Thinh Brick Enterprises .
The members also listened to the summary of the special activities of many member liaison committees. It seemed that geographical distance could not separate them from still looking towards each other, could not stop their desire for each other to have peaceful years, even though their heads were both cast in the shadow of time.
In the atmosphere of looking back at the years of working and bonding together, comrade Tran Ngoc Quang - Former General Director of the Corporation also brought a close sharing. In his speech, the former General Director not only expressed gratitude for the great contributions of the retired generations but also emphasized: "We are proud not only to be the pioneers who laid the foundation for Viglacera, but also to be the lighthouse that lights the creative fire of the Vietnamese construction materials manufacturing industry". As for his colleagues, he said: "No matter what stage of life, each person needs to find joy in life, enjoy new creative discoveries, no matter how small" . He also expressed: " In the past, I was famous for being strict. When my colleagues saw me, they avoided me. Please sympathize with me, because during those years, I bore the pressure of work and the responsibility of creating a breakthrough for Viglacera in a context of many difficulties".
The sentiments of the leader of the Corporation show that there is a Viglacera and the old affection that has never faded, never forgotten - not only for him, but for every person with the "Viglacera surname".
Mr. Tran Ngoc Quang - Former General Director of Construction Glass and Ceramics Corporation spent a lot of time and emotion when recalling the years of attachment in an environment full of difficulties and ambitions, to establish the foundation for Viglacera today.
The ceremony space continued to become more lively than ever with a series of meaningful activities carefully prepared by the Retirement Liaison Committee. The summary of the retirement work in 2025 was presented briefly but fully, recognizing the positive contributions of comrades in maintaining movements, supporting each other and preserving the spirit of solidarity of the collective.
Positive role models in the Corporation's retirement movement in 2024
A notable highlight of this year's program is the gift-giving ceremony for the Retirement Liaison Committee with good performance in 2024. The meaningful gifts were presented in person, as a deep gratitude for the Liaison Committee's tireless efforts in organizing events, connecting generations and maintaining the solidarity of the Viglacera retirement community. At the same time, the ceremony also dedicated a special moment to celebrate the longevity of the senior comrades over 90 years old - historical witnesses of Viglacera through many ups and downs. The gifts were given along with a warm handshake, spreading emotions to the entire hall.
Mr. Nguyen Quy Tuan - Chairman of Viglacera Corporation Trade Union - JSC expressed gratitude and wished longevity to former leaders of Viglacera Corporation over 90 years old.
Continuing the program, the gift-giving and celebration of International Women's Day on March 8 became a meaningful spiritual gift for the female retired staff of Viglacera Corporation. Fresh bouquets of flowers and small gifts were handed over with wishes for health and happiness. Comrade Tran Ngoc Chinh expressed: "Female comrades are not only a solid rear but also important contributors to the development of Viglacera over the years. On this March 8, we would like to send you our best wishes!"
Old stories continued to be rekindled in the exchange session, where former colleagues recalled memories of their association through the ups and downs of Viglacera. From the early difficult days to the great strides, each memory was recounted like a vivid film, evoking pride mixed with emotion.
