Kinhtedothi - On the morning of March 6, the Executive Committee of the Hanoi People's Committee Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term held its first conference.
Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Hong Son; Deputy Secretaries of the City People's Committee Party Committee Doan Trung Tuan and Le Quang Long chaired the conference.
Also attending the conference were members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, members of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee Nguyen Trong Dong, Duong Duc Tuan; Vice Chairmen of the City People's Committee Vu Thu Ha.
At the conference, the Party Committee of the City People's Committee announced the decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee of the City People's Committee of the Hanoi City People's Committee for the 2020-2025 term.
The Party Committee of the City People's Committee was established under Decision No. 8153-QD/TU, dated February 7, 2025 of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi Party Committee with 148 grassroots party organizations, 19,888 party members on the basis of receiving 42 grassroots party organizations, 6,598 party members from the Party Committee of the City Agencies and 106 grassroots party organizations, 13,290 party members from the Party Committee of the Hanoi Enterprises.
Reporting on the performance of the City People's Committee Party Committee in February 2025 and key tasks in March 2025, Deputy Secretary of the City People's Committee Party Committee Doan Trung Tuan said that immediately after the establishment decision on February 7, 2025, the City People's Committee Party Committee urgently and seriously implemented steps to reorganize the apparatus; build a work program and working regulations of the City People's Committee Party Executive Committee.
Regarding the leadership in implementing socio-economic development tasks, the Party Committee proposed solutions to remove obstacles and long-standing problems with slow-to-implement non-budgetary capital projects using land in the city; gave opinions on socio-economic development policies such as adjusting the GRDP growth target of Hanoi in 2025 to 8% or more, the plan to implement investment projects to build Tu Lien bridge, Tran Hung Dao bridge, Ngoc Hoi bridge and the policy of studying the planning and renovation plan for the Hoan Kiem Lake area...
After listening to the discussion opinions at the conference, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Le Hong Son noted the leadership and direction of Party building work and political ideology work when there are special events such as arranging and streamlining the apparatus; re-stipulating functions and tasks, arranging working headquarters; requiring to ensure that the above tasks are carried out without interrupting work and ensuring higher work efficiency.
“This is an important political task of the Party, including policies for cadres. We will apply the Capital Law in a direction that is higher than the Central's regulations, suitable to the city's conditions. This is a good opportunity to demonstrate the meaning of the Capital Law. We need to strive to complete the Party Committee's documents and policies on cadre work to submit to the City People's Council in March 2025" - Standing Deputy Secretary of the City People's Committee Party Committee Le Hong Son said.
Regarding the guidance for the Party Congress, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee suggested closely following the direction of the Central Committee to provide timely guidance. Emphasizing that in the current period, the leadership method of the City People's Committee Party Committee has changed completely and comprehensively, especially the professional tasks submitted to the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the City People's Council. The Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee requested that responsibilities be clearly and transparently defined; the more scientific, specific, and practical the leadership method is, the better.
Regarding the goal of developing the city's GRDP to double digits, the Standing Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized that this is a major task that requires close leadership and direction from the City People's Committee Party Committee. Socio-economic development and science and technology are key tasks of the City People's Committee Party Committee; it is necessary to build a work program with focus, key points, and priority order with flexible adjustment and supplementation methods, not rigid, with specific results, avoiding formality; with quantity, products, and responsible people. In particular, thoroughly apply Resolution No. 15-NQ/TU of the Politburo, 2 major Plannings and the Capital Law... to focus on developing transport infrastructure, especially urban railways; renovating and embellishing urban areas, developing cultural industries, managing public assets...
