According to information from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province, on the afternoon of March 20, the Provincial People's Committee has just issued a decision to auction land in Wards 10 and 11, Vung Tau City.
This land was approved for detailed planning 1/500 in August 2024 to implement the 3/2 Street Urban Area project.
The land area is nearly 60 hectares, of which more than 19 hectares is residential land, more than 35 hectares is commercial service land and more than 5 hectares is public service construction land.
The starting price is over VND 7,628 billion, including over VND 5,788 billion for residential land and over VND 1,840 billion for the remaining area (excluding VAT).
The form of land allocation is with land use fee collection for residential land and one-time land lease payment for the remaining area, with a usage period of 50 years.
Currently, the Department of Agriculture and Environment is directing the Land Fund Development Center to carry out procedures to organize auctions according to regulations.
Previously, on March 17, the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province issued urgent document No. 3662, warning people about false information about the sale of the project "Vung Tau Super Urban Sea Project" with perspective images of this land.
According to the document, the land has been approved for the land use rights auction plan and an investor will be selected through an auction in April 2025.
Ba Ria - Vung Tau province requested the provincial police to direct local police to grasp the situation, investigate and strictly handle cases of spreading false news.
