In the match against U22 Korea, coach Dinh Hong Vinh used a trio of strikers including Le Viktor, Thanh Nhan and Quoc Viet. U22 Korea dominated the first 20 minutes, but U22 Vietnam defended strongly and organized counterattacks. In the 21st minute, Thanh Nhan had a beautiful long-range shot, Quoc Viet tapped the ball into the net but it was not recognized. In the 25th minute, Thanh Nhan continued to challenge the opponent's goalkeeper but was unsuccessful.

In the second half, at minute 52, Thanh Nhan opened the score 1-0 after a smooth combination. At minute 75, coach Dinh Hong Vinh sent Quang Vinh and Van Cuong onto the field to maintain the balance. However, U22 Korea equalized 1-1 at the end of the second half, ending the match in a draw.

Evaluating the match result, coach Dinh Hong Vinh said: "Today's match is an important test for U22 Vietnam. Regardless of the result, the important thing is that we had the opportunity to compete with a quality opponent, thereby learning valuable lessons. The whole team played with good spirit, following the set tactics, but there are still points that need to be improved to reach the long-term goal.

I appreciate the players' efforts. They showed solidarity, followed the tactics and were not afraid to clash with strong opponents. Of course, there are still shortcomings, especially in the ability to control the tempo of the match and handle decisive situations. We will continue to analyze to help the players improve."

Regarding the upcoming match with U22 Uzbekistan, coach Dinh Hong Vinh shared: "Uzbekistan is an opponent with a very disciplined physique, physical strength and playing style. To prepare for this match, the coaching staff and players will focus on recovering their physical strength, adjusting appropriate tactics and preparing the best mentality. This will be a difficult match, but it is also an opportunity for U22 Vietnam to continue to assert themselves and test new tactical options."
