For the two majors of Security Science and Defense Science, the State Council of Professors does not publish detailed scientific backgrounds of qualified candidates. The Defense Science major has 30 candidates proposed to be qualified for recognition, including 1 professor candidate and 29 associate professor candidates.
The Department of Security Science has 14 qualified candidates, including 1 professor candidate and 13 associate professor candidates.
Thus, the total number of candidates proposed by 28 majors and interdisciplinary fields that meet the criteria for recognition as professors and associate professors in 2023 is 650 candidates.

The major with the most unqualified candidates was Medicine with 15/82 candidates. Of these, 3 professor candidates were eliminated and 12 associate professor candidates were eliminated.
Economics ranked second with 10 candidates. Of which, 4 were professor candidates and 6 were associate professor candidates.
However, if we look at the percentage, Linguistics has the highest rate with 42.8% of candidates not meeting the standards. Pharmacy also has up to 33% of candidates not meeting the standards.
There are 7 majors with 100% of candidates recommended to meet the standards: Animal Husbandry - Veterinary Medicine - Aquaculture, Mechanics, Education, Metallurgy, Law, History - Archeology - Ethnology, Psychology.
In 2023, the time for considering recognition of meeting the standards for the title of professor and associate professor will last from April to October. The State Council of Professors recommends that the basic professorial councils, industry and interdisciplinary professorial councils, and universities carefully consider professional - academic qualifications and scientific integrity.
The Council recommends carefully assessing the quality of journals and the quality of scientific works. Pay attention to detecting, reviewing and evaluating scientific works that use or are assisted by artificial intelligence (AI) tools. Organize discussions and have conclusions evaluating these scientific works.
