Two female lecturers of the People's Police Academy received the decision to appoint them to the title of Associate Professor.

The People's Police Academy has just announced and awarded the decision to appoint the title of Associate Professor in Security Science in 2024, including 2 female lecturers who meet the standards for the title of Associate Professor: Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Hai Yen - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Law and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Officer of the Department of Training Quality Assurance.

Lieutenant General, Professor, Dr. Tran Minh Huong - Member of the State Council of Professors, Chairman of the Council of Professors of Security Science, Director of the People's Police Academy - attended and chaired the ceremony.

The recognition of qualifications and appointment of Professors and Associate Professors is a major and important policy of the Party and State to build, train and use a team of leading and key scientists in training and research institutions according to national standards, gradually approaching the standards of advanced countries in the region and the world. This policy also creates a basis for determining the roles, responsibilities and directions of efforts for scientists and educators, and at the same time is the basis for proposing and implementing policies and regimes for the use and treatment of highly qualified and prestigious intellectuals.

The two female lecturers who have met the standards for the title of Associate Professor are Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Hai Yen (right) - Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Officer of the Training Quality Assurance Department.

On November 19, 2024, the State Council of Professors officially announced the Decision on meeting the standards for the title of Professor and Associate Professor in 2024 for 614 Teachers, including 45 Professors and 569 Associate Professors, of which, the Security Science sector has 17 more Associate Professors recognized.

Notably, in 2024, the People's Police Academy appointed two female lecturers who met the standards for the title of Associate Professor, namely Senior Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Hai Yen - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Law and Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Officer of the Training Quality Assurance Department.

Up to now, the People's Police Academy has 2 Professors and 45 Associate Professors, and is the training institution with the largest team of Professors, Associate Professors and scientists in the People's Police force.

On behalf of the Council of Professors of Security Science, Lieutenant General, Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Huong, Chairman of the Council, congratulated the new Associate Professors and requested the teachers appointed to the title of Associate Professor in 2024 to continue to contribute their strength and intelligence to the education and training of the Public Security sector in general and the People's Police Academy in particular.
