More than half of Americans, when asked how they feel about President-elect Trump's policies during his second term, voiced their support for him.
The survey results released by the Pew Research Center on the evening of November 22 (Washington DC time) showed that 53% of Americans surveyed said they “somewhat support or strongly approve of Mr. Trump’s plans and policies in the future.” Meanwhile, about 46% of respondents said they “somewhat disapprove or strongly disapprove” of Mr. Trump’s policies in his second term.

In the economic field, 59% of survey participants said they were somewhat confident or certain that the US President-elect would make good decisions on economic policy. Regarding policies related to law enforcement, immigration and foreign affairs, Mr. Trump received support from 53-54% of survey participants, respectively. On the issue of abortion, he only received support from 45% of respondents. When asked about their level of sympathy for the US President-elect, 43% of respondents rated Mr. Trump as “warm or very warm”. Meanwhile, up to 48% of survey participants rated him as “cold or very cold”. It can be seen that Mr. Trump's “warm or very warm” rate this time is higher than in 2016 and 2020.
