On December 24, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced the school holidays for the 2025 New Year and the 2025 Lunar New Year for students in the capital.
Specifically, regarding the New Year holiday schedule, students of kindergartens, primary schools, secondary schools, high schools, vocational education centers - continuing education centers will have 1 day off, on January 1, 2025.
Regarding the Lunar New Year holiday, students will have 9 consecutive days off from school, from January 25 to February 2, 2025 (from December 26 to the 5th day of Tet).
The Hanoi Department of Education and Training requests units and schools to thoroughly grasp and strictly and fully implement documents and instructions from the central government and the city on organizing activities during Tet.
At the same time, specifically announce the Tet holiday schedule to all cadres, teachers, employees and students; strengthen propaganda and education for students to practice civilized lifestyle, maintain social order and safety, and traffic safety.
In the 2024-2025 school year, Hanoi will have about 2.3 million students from kindergarten to high school studying at educational institutions.
