BTO-On the afternoon of January 12, at the hall of the Ham Thuan Bac District Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee held a conference to summarize the Mass Mobilization work in 2023 and deploy tasks for 2024.
Comrade Dang Hong Sy - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission chaired the conference. Also attending were representatives of the Standing Committee of Ham Thuan Bac District Party Committee; Heads of the Mass Mobilization Commissions of districts, towns, and cities, the Party Committees of the Provincial Agencies and Enterprises; representatives of the leaders of the Department of Mass Mobilization and Mass Mobilization of the Provincial Party Committees of the Public Security, Military, and Border Guards, etc.
In 2023, all levels, sectors and localities in the province have focused on leading, directing and implementing well the mass mobilization work in all fields associated with the implementation of assigned tasks, contributing to the socio-economic development of the province. Notably, focusing on directing propaganda and organizing patriotic emulation movements associated with responding to the National Tourism Year 2023 "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence" and the theme of the year of the Provincial Party Committee "Urban beautification, preserving and protecting the environment, green, clean and beautiful landscapes". The emulation movement "Skillful mass mobilization" continues to spread in all areas of social life. As of October 15, 2023, the whole province has 746 "Skillful mass mobilization" models registered at the district level, with 13/14 districts, towns, city Party Committees and affiliated Party Committees recognizing 155 district-level models; 13/14 units (except Duc Linh unit) proposed to recognize 39 "Skillful Mass Mobilization" models at the provincial level in 2023. As a result, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee reviewed and recognized 22 models of collectives and individuals (20 collective models, 2 individual models) such as: "Skillful Mass Mobilization in Ethnic Minority Areas" model of the Provincial Police; "Preservation, care and maintenance of the marine environment" model of Phuoc The commune, Tuy Phong district; "Mobilizing people to build household incinerators" model in Ham Hiep commune, Ham Thuan Bac district...
Along with that, Party committees and authorities at all levels pay attention to grasping the situation and resolving the legitimate aspirations of the people and taking care of their material and spiritual lives. The political security situation, social order and safety in ethnic minority and religious areas in the province are basically stable. Authorities at all levels pay attention to and care for the lives and economies of the people; visit, congratulate and encourage organizations, dignitaries and people of all religions and ethnic groups on the occasion of their holidays and New Year. The mass mobilization work of state agencies has many positive changes in administrative reform and digital transformation. The work of supervision, social criticism, and giving opinions on party building and government building has been given attention. The role of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee is also clearly demonstrated through grasping the situation and promptly proposing to the Standing Committee and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to direct the resolution of complex issues arising among the people, ethnic groups and religions, etc.
In addition to the achieved results, the effectiveness of propaganda, mobilization, and gathering of union members, association members, and people of all walks of life in some movements is still low, and has not yet created a widespread impact in society. The work of grasping, reflecting, coordinating, advising, and directing the resolution of people's legitimate thoughts and aspirations, analyzing and forecasting the situation, especially urgent and complex issues, is sometimes and in some places not specific, accurate, or timely...
Concluding the conference, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Dang Hong Sy requested units and localities in the province to continue to enhance their responsibility for mass mobilization work; coordinate to grasp the situation, mood, thoughts, aspirations of the people and pressing issues among the people, complicated cases related to ethnic and religious affairs; promptly coordinate to advise and make recommendations to Party committees and authorities to consider directing and resolving the situation. Advise Party committees at all levels to summarize and summarize a number of policies of the Central Committee on mass mobilization work. On this occasion, the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee awarded certificates of merit to 20 collectives and 2 individuals achieving the typical "Skilled Mass Mobilization" model in 2023.
