200 delegates attend the 6th Global Forum of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals

NDO - This Global Young Vietnamese Intellectuals Forum will take place in February 2025 in Hanoi, with online seminar activities starting from December 2024. The forum has the theme "Young Vietnamese Intellectuals Globally Contribute to the Country Entering a New Era", with 4 thematic discussion contents.

On the afternoon of December 6, in Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Federation, and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Young Physicians Association jointly organized a press conference to inform about the 6th Global Forum of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals.

Representatives of the Central Youth Union and relevant units attended the press meeting.

The forum is expected to take place on February 8 and 9, 2025, with the participation of 200 official delegates. Of which, there are 100 outstanding young intellectuals in the country and 100 outstanding young intellectuals from Vietnam who are working and studying abroad.

The delegates are outstanding people, with a master's degree or higher, or are doctoral students (not through master's), students participating in scientific research,... at ministries, departments, branches, universities, academies, research units, domestic and international organizations. The detailed list of delegates will be updated and completed in December 2024.

With the theme "Young Vietnamese intellectuals globally contribute to the country entering a new era", the forum will focus on discussing 4 topics, with the following contents: Applying AI and new technologies to improve labor productivity; innovative startups associated with green economic development; sustainable adaptation to the challenges of the era of global change; developing infrastructure, smart cities, connecting and developing regions.

Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Viet Hang, Head of the Global Network of Young Vietnamese Intellectuals, answered questions from press and media units.

Notably, there are contents such as solutions to improve teaching and learning performance under the impact of AI; legal corridors, codes of conduct and ethics in applying AI and new technologies; opportunities, challenges and business models, innovative startups associated with green economy, circular economy; energy security; the problem of reducing carbon credits in Vietnam,...

The forum will conclude with a report on recommendations from the global community of young Vietnamese intellectuals and a report on mechanisms and recommendations to promote the role of young Vietnamese intellectuals globally in the 2025-2030 period.
