(Fatherland) - From November 22 to 26, 2024, at the Cultural Center, Nghe An Provincial Museum, Ho Tung Mau Walking Street, Vinh City, the Exhibition "Colors of cultural heritage, nature and traditional Vietnamese handicrafts" will take place.
In celebration of Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day November 23; on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of Nghe Tinh Vi Giam folk songs being recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Nghe An Provincial People's Committee; Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development assigned the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts to coordinate with relevant units; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; Department of Culture and Sports of 20 provinces and cities: Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Dien Bien, Phu Tho, Bac Ninh, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Can Tho City, Kien Giang, Hau Giang, Bac Lieu to organize the Exhibition "Colors of cultural heritage, nature and traditional handicrafts of Vietnam" in Nghe An province.
Images of Vietnam's heritages are introduced at the Exhibition
The exhibition aims to introduce, promote and honor the values of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, relics and scenic spots of Vietnam; affirm the potential for cultural tourism development, create a strong driving force to attract resources for tourism development, enhance the image of the country and people of Vietnam. At the same time, introduce traditional handicraft products of industrial and handicraft villages in regions; encourage the creative spirit of artisans, thereby promoting the potential of craft village tourism, expanding the relationship between traditional craft villages, gradually integrating into the international economy.
The exhibition introduces Vietnam's cultural heritage space and traditional handicraft products through a system of documents, artifacts and more than 300 art photos about heritage including:
The exhibition area shows the interest of President Ho Chi Minh, Party and State leaders in national cultural heritage , focusing on introducing images of President Ho Chi Minh visiting natural and cultural heritages; President Ho Chi Minh's documents on preserving and promoting cultural heritages and documents, directives, images of Party and State leaders visiting tangible and intangible cultural heritages, historical relics, and natural heritages.
The exhibition is an activity to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Nghe Tinh Vi Giam folk songs being recognized by UNESCO as an intangible cultural heritage of humanity.
The exhibition area "Historical and cultural relics, scenic spots of Vietnam" focuses on introducing: world natural heritages, world cultural heritages; mixed world cultural and natural heritages; intangible cultural heritages; world biosphere reserves in Vietnam; documentary heritages; global geoparks. Along with that are images of special national relics, tangible and intangible cultural heritages, famous scenic spots and typical cultural life of regions across the country .
The exhibition "Cultural characteristics of ethnic groups in Vietnamese cultural heritage" organized by the Museum of Cultures of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups highlights cultural values with unique identities, reflecting the traditions, history and pride of Vietnamese ethnic groups through cultural heritage, spiritual and cultural life, traditional festivals, folk games, ethnic costumes, etc.
Exhibition "Uncle Ho's poems on Lotus calligraphy" Introducing some poems of President Ho on lotus calligraphy, the exhibition is jointly organized by the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts and the Vietnam Cultural Heritage Conservation Support Fund.

The exhibition and performance area of light sculpture art with many meaningful works such as: images of Uncle Ho's hometown Sen village, images of President Ho Chi Minh searching for a way to save the country, reading the declaration of independence, images of Vietnam map, mountains of Vietnam... it is a combination of sculpture art and fixed light sources to create unique images with the shadow of the sculpted object.
Besides, the exhibition "Vietnamese Ao Dai" displays and introduces Vietnamese Ao Dai collections by designers, honoring and spreading the image and beauty of women with Ao Dai through each period to elevate Ao Dai to a "cultural item" in diplomacy, developing Vietnamese culture and tourism to the world. In addition, there is the Tea Culture Space. Display, introduce products and exchange tea culture.
The exhibition space "Colors of cultural heritage, nature and traditional handicrafts" of provinces/cities with the participation of 20 provinces and cities focuses on introducing typical cultural and natural heritages of each locality, destinations that are loved by tourists; introducing unique features of community activities; promoting the potential of eco-tourism and sustainable tourism in the locality. At the same time, introducing to the public cultural heritages, historical relics, unique festivals, typical traditional handicrafts, culinary arts, and products of each locality.
Within the framework of the Exhibition, there is also the 2024 Vietnam Handicraft Products Competition and Exhibition; Art exchange program "Colors of Heritage".
