
Specifically, from December 12-19, 39 communes and towns in Yen Thanh district organized a peak campaign to clear road safety corridors, handle encroachment on roadsides and sidewalks, and ensure traffic order and safety.
Lieutenant Colonel Tran Van Quy - Deputy Head of Yen Thanh District Police said that the District Police's Public Order Police force has established a working group to coordinate with the police of communes, towns and related units to carry out propaganda, remind business households not to display goods and advertising signs on the sidewalk and request the dismantling and clearing of constructions encroaching on road traffic safety corridors. Coordinate with related forces and local authorities to clear violations encroaching on traffic safety corridors.
During the campaign, the forces dismantled 37 fixed billboards and iron fences, signed a commitment to dismantle 5 mobile awnings. They seized 49 mobile billboards, 1 oven, 1 plastic fruit crate, dismantled 9 mobile umbrellas, 12 canvas backdrops, canopies... and instructed 13 businesses not to encroach on traffic safety corridors for business purposes.

In this campaign, the Traffic Safety Committee of Yen Thanh district directed communes and towns to focus on clearing all violations of road traffic safety corridors and routes in the district, especially National Highway 7A-7B; Provincial Road 48E-37B, industrial park routes, and main roads in the communes.
In the coming time, the functional sector of Yen Thanh district continues to request localities to strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to voluntarily dismantle and overcome violations; resolutely handle and clear violations according to management levels, in order to ensure traffic safety in the entire district./.
