Ambulance catches fire in front of the lobby of Nghe An's largest hospital

(Dan Tri) - An ambulance carrying a patient to the hospital for emergency treatment suddenly caught fire in front of the lobby of the Emergency Department of Nghe An General Hospital.

The incident occurred at around 12:00 on November 15 in the lobby of the Emergency Department of Nghe An General Hospital.

At that time, the ambulance was transporting a patient to the Emergency Department of this hospital for treatment. However, while the vehicle was parked in the lobby of the Emergency Department, it suddenly caught fire.

Immediately, the team of officers, doctors, staff, security guards and people promptly assisted in safely removing the patient from the ambulance. At the same time, the fire from the ambulance became increasingly fierce.

The Fire Prevention and Fighting Police of Nghe An Province mobilized many fire trucks to put out the fire.

After several minutes of firefighting, the fire was brought under control. At the scene, the ambulance was burned to the frame, and part of the roof in the lobby of the Emergency Department was damaged.

"We are taking the patient to the emergency room and cannot provide any further information yet," a doctor at Nghe An General Hospital told Dan Tri reporter.
