At the same time, combining architecture inspired by the three typical coffee civilizations of the world Ottoman - Roman - Zen with indigenous cultural elements, the entire factory is surrounded by trees, lakes, herbal gardens, basalt and a modern solar energy system, creating a peaceful, natural and balanced space for experience and work.
General Director of the World Coffee Organization - Ms. Vanusia Noguiera delivered a congratulatory speech.
Attending the groundbreaking ceremony of Trung Nguyen Legend Energy Coffee Factory, Ms. Vanusia Noguiera - General Director of the World Coffee Organization, assessed that with the increasing demand for Robusta coffee globally, Trung Nguyen Legend's expansion and investment in the factory in Buon Ma Thuot, goes beyond the meaning of economic development but also demonstrates the harmonious combination of global vision and local tradition. A model for sustainable development, bringing benefits to farmers, communities and consumers around the world.
In 2024, Vietnam's coffee export turnover will reach more than 5 billion USD, putting coffee in the top 10 largest export items in the country. In particular, Buon Ma Thuot Robusta coffee is creating a global boom, increasingly popular in coffee powerhouses such as Germany, Italy, China, the US, Japan, Spain, Indonesia... strongly affirming the quality and position of Vietnam's coffee powerhouse. However, of the current total coffee output of about 530,000 tons/crop year from more than 200,000 hectares in Dak Lak province, only about 20% is deeply processed. This is a huge potential that Dak Lak province's leaders are particularly interested in, encouraging businesses to invest in deep processing technology locally to increase the added value of coffee, as well as meet the increasing demand for processed coffee consumption worldwide. |
