Dai Dong Commune (Yen Binh District) received the Certificate of recognition for achieving the Model New Rural Area standard in 2024.

CTTĐT - On the morning of March 1, the People's Committee of Yen Binh district held a ceremony to announce the decision of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee recognizing Dai Dong commune (Yen Binh district) as meeting the model New Rural standards in 2024.

Vice Chairman Ngo Hanh Phuc awarded the certificate of recognition for meeting the model new rural standards to Dai Dong commune.

Attending the Recognition Ceremony were comrade Ngo Hanh Phuc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, leaders of Yen Binh District People's Committee and a large number of people from Dai Dong commune.

After more than 14 years of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction, including 2 years of implementing advanced new rural construction and 2 years of building model new rural construction, up to now, Dai Dong commune has completed 4/4 groups of criteria for model new rural commune.

Dai Dong commune has developed an FSC-certified forest plantation area of over 2,000 hectares, 14 commercial livestock farms bringing high economic value; developed 126 individual production and business households, 32 cooperatives, 03 cooperatives, creating production chains, increasing product value, creating stable jobs for people; the average income per capita of the commune reached 60.69 million VND/person/year; the multidimensional poverty rate decreased to 2.41%; health and education received investment attention; the cultural and spiritual life of the people was improved; national defense and security were ensured, there were no petitions and no serious crimes occurring in the area, social evils were controlled and reduced; the rural landscape was green, clean, beautiful and civilized.

Speaking at the Announcement Ceremony, Comrade Ngo Hanh Phuc - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee shared joy with the leaders and people of Dai Dong commune; at the same time, praised and acknowledged the results that the Party Committee, government and people of Dai Dong commune have achieved over the past time.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the Party Committee, the government, the Fatherland Front, organizations and people in the commune to continue promoting the achieved results, fully exploiting all potentials, strengths and advantages. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested that Yen Binh district continue to carefully review the current status of criteria for building the district to meet advanced new rural standards in the coming time, on that basis, have a plan and roadmap to implement fundamentally and methodically in the new rural construction plan for the entire period of 2026-2030, and soon complete the Project to build Yen Binh district to meet advanced new rural standards by 2029 to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and approval.
