On June 3, British Defense Minister Ben Wallace said that countries importing Russian weapons should return them to the sellers.

According to Mr. Wallace, Russian weapons are not worth buying and he was convinced of this when he saw their effectiveness in Ukraine.

“There are people here who have spent a lot of money on Russian weapons,” Mr. Wallace said at the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore. “If I were you, I would return it to the seller. Given what I saw in Ukraine, I would urge you not to spend money on Russian weapons.”

The British Defense Minister stressed that Russian weapons are ineffective, while NATO member countries' weapons are among the best in the world.

Earlier in May, President Vladimir Putin declared that Russia is one of the main exporters of military products.

According to the Stockholm Peace Research Institute, military exports from Russia fell by 31% between 2018 and 2022. However, Russia continues to be the leading arms exporter, with an export share of 16% of the world market.

Experts also say that Russia has the world's largest nuclear arsenal with nearly 6,000 warheads. Russia and the United States together hold 90% of the world's nuclear warheads, enough to destroy the planet many times over.
