The new route will exploit the huge potential of the South Indian market, while affirming the role and mission of the national airline over the past 30 years of continuously expanding its flight network, connecting Vietnam with the world.

The route between Hanoi and Bengaluru will be operated by Vietnam Airlines from May 1, 2025 with a frequency of 4 round trips per week, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays, departing from Hanoi at 18:55 and from Bengaluru at 23:30.

Meanwhile, the flight route between Hanoi and Hyderabad is expected to start from May 7, 2025 with a frequency of 3 round trips per week, taking off from Hanoi at 19:15 and from Hyderabad at 23:45 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

On the occasion of opening a new route, Vietnam Airlines offers many attractive incentives for passengers when purchasing tickets from now until June 15, 2025.

Specifically, customers will enjoy a preferential round-trip price from VND 6.8 million (including taxes and fees) when departing from May 1 to December 31, 2025 and a 30% discount on prepaid baggage for trips departing from May 1 to June 15, 2025.

Throughout 30 years of formation and development, Vietnam Airlines has constantly strived to build a journey connecting with the world.

In particular, Golden Lotus members will receive additional incentives with 600 bonus miles for each Economy class flight and 1,200 bonus miles for each Business class flight, applicable to tickets purchased from now until June 15, 2025 and departing from May 1 to June 15, 2025.

Bengaluru is considered the “Silicon Valley” of India, located in an area with a large population and strong development potential. Meanwhile, Hyderabad is home to many global technology corporations. These are two areas where people and businesses have a great need for travel to serve business and tourism activities.

With a flight time of only about 4-5 hours, the direct flights to Bengaluru and Hyderabad not only help Vietnam Airlines reach many potential customers in South India, but also facilitate more effective connections with prominent tourist destinations in Vietnam such as Hanoi, Ninh Binh, or Sa Pa - places that are increasingly attracting Indian tourists.

Before operating flights from Hanoi to Bengaluru and Hyderabad, Vietnam Airlines has laid the foundation in the Indian market with direct flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to Delhi and Mumbai. To date, the airline has operated more than 1,600 flights and served more than 240,000 passengers on flights to India.

In 2024, Vietnam will welcome more than 500,000 Indian visitors, surpassing the total number of visitors from the previous year, making India one of Vietnam's top 10 largest tourist markets. The continued expansion of its flight network to South India is a testament to Vietnam Airlines' long-term development strategy in a country with more than 1.4 billion people and one of the fastest growing tourism markets in Asia.

Throughout 30 years of establishment and development, Vietnam Airlines has continuously strived to build a journey of connection with the world. That is also the decades of Vietnam Airlines' persistent growth on the journey of taking off with the country, bringing the image of Vietnam to the world and connecting cultures and economies between countries.
