In 2023, the revenue of the food and beverage industry in Quang Nam will reach about 1,200 billion VND (an increase of 40% compared to 2019). Currently, there are hundreds of households developing food businesses in the direction of rural and traditional tourism.

Especially, during the Lunar New Year, thousands of lanterns are produced, from small and pretty to larger than 1 meter depending on the needs of customers, with prices ranging from 100,000 VND to 1 million VND.

Many establishments are now focusing on linking production with designing experiential tours for tourists. With Hoi An joining the UNESCO Global Creative Cities Network in the field of crafts and folk arts, the creation of products and values ​​related to lanterns will be given more attention.
