At the seminar, experts shared information on Muslim-friendly tourism and guidance on Halal certification (Regulations of Muslim countries on Halal certification, Certification programs, Halal standards and Halal certification procedures for restaurants and hotels); market demand of Middle Eastern countries (especially the Arab market), customer culture, service requirements and experiences, things to note, and solutions to effectively serve and exploit this source of customers; orientation for developing Halal human resources in hotels, dining establishments...
The Da Nang Department of Tourism added that the unit has also developed a plan to implement tasks to develop the international tourist market via flights operated by airlines related to this regional market.
Specifically, Emirates Airlines operates the Dubai - Bangkok - Da Nang route with a frequency of 4 flights/week, expected to operate with Boeing 777 aircraft from June 2, 2025, with the main source of passengers from the UAE, the Middle East region and connecting passengers from Europe and the US.
At the same time, operate charter flights from CIS countries (route from Astana & Almaty, Kazakhstan - Da Nang with a frequency of 1-2 flights/week, expected to operate with Airbus A330 aircraft from April 2, 2025 to the end of October 2025, main source of passengers from CIS countries).
