Hanoi City previously sent 51 billion VND in support to help people in 11 northern mountainous provinces overcome the consequences of floods.
Mr. Pham Van Chung, Chairman of Huong Sen Healthcare System, said that in recent days, due to the heavy losses in many northern provinces and cities, it will take a lot of time and resources to partly overcome the damage caused by storm No. 3. The unit has proactively launched a support program throughout the Huong Sen Healthcare System nationwide, with each employee contributing one day of labor.
Vice Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Dang Thi Phuong Hoa said that she will promptly and fully transfer these resources to the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to quickly support people affected by storms and floods.
Statistics as of 4:00 p.m. on September 13, 2024, the amount of money transferred by organizations and individuals to the Hanoi City "Relief" Fund is more than 56 billion VND through 3 forms: Cash, transfer via Aribank bank account number and State Treasury.
The fanpage and website of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City has published more than 1,700 pages of information listing units, organizations, and individuals supporting people in provinces and cities affected by storm No. 3, from transactions of a few thousand dong to hundreds of millions and billions of dong.
The list is detailed with the date of transfer, the amount transferred as well as the transaction content of the people, organizations and businesses. The list of supporters will continue to be updated by the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Hanoi city, and the statement will be made public every day.
