Accordingly, by 2025, strive to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for 3 programs: Housing support for people with revolutionary contributions; housing support under the national target program; elimination of station houses and dilapidated houses for poor and near-poor households.

Comrade Bui Van Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for the Elimination of Temporary and Dilapidated Houses in the Province said: This is one of the major policies and key contents of 2025, under the direction of the Prime Minister, local Party committees and authorities focus on implementation. Members of the Steering Committee and localities need to consider this as a peak period to implement the goal of eliminating temporary houses, pay attention to the disadvantaged, people in difficult circumstances, and at the same time focus on reviewing and accurately identifying the subjects who really have housing needs to have support plans.

Through review, as of February 11, 2025, the whole province has 1,223 households of people with revolutionary contributions who need and are eligible to request support for house construction and repair; 199 households under the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas in the province; 2,922 poor and near-poor households with temporary or dilapidated houses (of which 1,980 households need and are eligible to request support for house construction and repair, 942 have land problems).

The Provincial Steering Committee has also agreed to adjust the support budget for target groups, accordingly supporting 60 million VND/newly built house and 30 million VND/repaired house for all beneficiary groups. For poor households who are unable to pay for housing, they will receive a maximum support of 130 million VND/house according to Conclusion Notice No. 1518-TB/TU dated February 27, 2024 of the Provincial Standing Committee.
