Just before the visit of Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) Feridun Sinirlioglu to the capital Moscow in the early morning of March 11, this locality and many other regions in Russia suffered a large drone attack.

TASS news agency reported that on March 11, according to the announcement of the Russian Ministry of Defense, air defense forces shot down 337 Ukrainian UAVs in the airspace of many regions of Russia at night, including 91 in the Moscow region, 126 in Kursk...
The ministry added that this was the largest attack since the beginning of 2025.
Meanwhile, AFP news agency quoted Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin writing on Telegram : "The Defense Ministry's air defense system continues to repel a large-scale enemy UAV attack on Moscow."
The latest information from Moscow Region Governor Andrei Vorobyov said that 1 person was killed, 3 people were injured, and many apartments were damaged in the Ukrainian UAV attack on Moscow. Authorities had to evacuate residents of at least 7 apartments.
Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova posted on Telegram that the attack took place right before OSCE Secretary General Feridun Sinirlioglu's visit to Moscow on the same day.
“This is not the first time that a visit to Moscow by a high-ranking foreign delegation has been accompanied by a drone attack by the Ukrainian armed forces,” Zakharova noted.
The attack comes as senior US and Ukrainian officials are in Saudi Arabia for talks on resolving the conflict in the Eastern European country. Ukraine is expected to present the US with a plan for a partial ceasefire with Russia, hoping to restore support from its key donor after President Donald Trump demanded concessions from Kiev.
This will be the highest-level negotiating session since a failed meeting at the White House late last month between President Trump and his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky.
