According to Telegram pages monitoring the war in Ukraine, several large explosions were recorded in the Millerovo area of ​​Rostov region on the morning of December 24 local time. There is currently no information about casualties in the incident.

Rostov region attacked by Ukrainian drones

Local residents reported hearing explosions in the area of ​​Millerovo airport. Acting regional governor Yuri Slyusar said eight Ukrainian drones were shot down near the airport and no casualties were reported.

There were no injuries, information about the consequences on the ground is being clarified. The threat from drones in the Rostov region is still recorded ,” said Yuri Slyusar.

Ukraine tries to attack many areas on Russian territory

The Economist reported that Ukraine is developing the Trembita missile capable of reaching Moscow.

In its basic configuration, the missile has a flight speed of up to 400km/h and a range of 200km, but a longer-range model capable of reaching the Russian capital is under development. Serial production of the Trembita is expected to begin after final field tests.

Ukraine's missile industry is being revived amid possible problems with future support from Western countries.

Velyka Novosilka in siege

The Russian Defense Ministry said it continued to inflict heavy casualties on the 13 AFU brigades involved in the fighting in Kursk Oblast. During offensive operations over the weekend, Russian units reportedly defeated five mechanized and three airborne assault brigades, one marine brigade and four territorial defense brigades of Ukraine in Kursk.

On the Pokrovsk side, Moscow forces controlled most of Dachne and advanced into the Pishchane, Novovasylivka and Ukrainka areas.

In the direction of Vremivka, the Russian side has driven the enemy out of Storozheve and controlled most of Blahodatne. In the direction of Zaporozhya, fighting is still going on in the Kamianske area.
