District 1 People's Committee directs coordination to organize the 2024 National Press Festival

The document clearly states that in order to implement Plan No. 993/KH-UBND dated March 1, 2024 of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee on coordination and implementation of the 2024 National Press Conference, the People's Committee of District 1 requests a number of units to coordinate and implement a number of contents including:

District 1 Police coordinated with functional units of the city to ensure security, order, traffic safety, and traffic regulation during the organization of the 2024 National Press Festival.

The Urban Management Department directs the Urban Order Management Team to strengthen security and order, preventing street vending in the area where the program is held. Coordinate with Saigon Trading Group LLC to arrange parking lots for the 2024 National Press Festival.

District 1 Public Service Company Limited is responsible for assigning forces to ensure environmental sanitation and reasonably arranging mobile public toilets around the organizing area before, during and after the program.

The People's Committee of Ben Nghe and Ben Thanh wards coordinated with the district's functional forces to ensure security, order, traffic safety, and environmental sanitation during the press conference.

To effectively coordinate the organization of the 2024 National Press Conference in Ho Chi Minh City, District 1 People's Committee requests heads of units to seriously implement assigned contents and tasks.

Previously, to prepare for the 2024 National Press Festival, the Ministry of Information and Communications requested the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) to support transmission lines and install internet and wifi lines during the 2024 National Press Festival at the venue Le Loi Street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

National Press Conference 2024
- The 2024 National Press Festival will be held in Ho Chi Minh City from March 15-17:
- The opening ceremony will take place at 8:00 a.m. on March 15 on Le Loi Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
- The national press forum took place on March 15 and 16 at REX Hotel, 141 Nguyen Hue Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
- The closing ceremony will take place at 8:00 a.m. on March 17 on Le Loi Street, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
