What is special is that the team members are children of workers' families, poor laborers, and even from charity homes.
* From a poor football team to one of the 4 best teams in the tournament
One of the key players of U.11 Trang Bom participating in this year's tournament is Le Minh Thuan (10 years old). He has a rather difficult situation, his mother died early, his father left the country, he was taken in by his grandparents.
From a young age, he showed talent and love for football. Knowing his passion, but due to difficult circumstances, the worry of making ends meet in his old age made his grandparents unable to continue to take care of him.

From then on, Thuan was sent to the David Club and Home for nurturing, care and football training.
Talking about his family, Thuan had tears in his eyes: “I have lived with my grandparents since I was little. When I first came to the orphanage, I missed home so much that I was very sad. Now I have gradually gotten used to it. Everyone here takes care of me and lets me pursue my passion for football. I will try to practice really well so that I can become a professional player and have money to take care of my grandparents.”
On the morning of August 4, the semi-final match will take place between U.11 Tan Phu (first place in Group B) - U.11 Trang Bom (second place in Group A). The players of U.11 Trang Bom will be determined to compete to achieve the best results to play in the final match. |
Another player with difficult circumstances is Cao Tran Gia Hung. His parents are factory workers and often have to work overtime, so they have little time to take care of him or take him to practice or compete.
Understanding his parents' hardships, even though his house was more than 5km away from the training center, Hung always woke up early and cycled to practice with the team. With his talent clearly revealed in each pass, Hung was noticed by the coaching staff and led to participate in training and competition with the team.
* Overcoming adversity to write a beautiful story
Unlike some players from other teams, who are picked up, taken care of, and cheered on by their relatives when they compete, many players from U.11 Trang Bom have difficult circumstances. Most of their parents are busy with work and cannot come to cheer them on.

However, that did not make the players feel sad or discouraged. On the contrary, every time they entered the match, the team's fighting spirit did not decrease but they tried together, taking advantage of every opportunity to win.
Coach of U.11 Trang Bom Nguyen Trieu Phuong said that despite difficult family circumstances, the children have one thing in common: they always try hard to practice and are eager to show themselves in each match.

Their efforts were rewarded when they were one of the four best teams in the group stage to compete in the semi-finals.
Football always contains special things and one of the special things of this year's tournament is the effort of the players from U.11 Trang Bom.
