(HBĐT) - On the afternoon of May 18, the Department of Education and Training held a ceremony to honor and reward excellent national students in the 2022-2023 school year. Attending and congratulating the students on their achievements were comrades: Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Van Chuong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
At the National High School Excellence Competition for the 2022-2023 school year, Hoa Binh had 72 candidates participating in 12 subjects: Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Informatics, Physics, Literature, History, Geography, English, French, Russian, Chinese. As a result, 28 candidates won prizes, an increase of 5 prizes compared to the 2021-2022 school year exam, ranking 35/68 participating units in terms of total prizes (up 3 places). Of which, there were 2 second prizes, 10 third prizes, 16 consolation prizes. Hoang Van Thu Specialized High School alone contributed many achievements with 26/28 prizes. In addition, for the Science and Technology Competition for high school students, the province won 1 second prize and 1 promising prize.
Comrade Bui Van Khanh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, spoke to acknowledge, commend and congratulate the provincial education and training sector as well as the individual achievements of the award-winning students. He emphasized: The 2022-2023 school year is the 10th year that the entire sector has implemented Resolution No. 29-NQ/TW on fundamental and comprehensive innovation of education and training, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization. The achievements of the students create a strong belief in a new generation of talents continuing to move forward with new records and new achievements in the future. At the same time, it is the result of the care and leadership of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, the dedication of teachers in teaching and the efforts in studying and training of the students. In the coming time, the education and training sector will further strengthen innovation; relevant departments, branches, local Party committees and authorities will pay attention and support; Schools promote emulation movements to achieve even higher results, excellently complete the tasks of the 2022-2023 school year, contributing to the successful implementation of the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress.

At the ceremony, students who won second and third prizes at the national level received certificates of merit from the Minister of Education and Training. The Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to teachers who taught teams with students winning second and third prizes and students who won second and third prizes at the national level. The Department of Education and Training awarded certificates of merit to students who won consolation prizes, teachers who taught teams with students winning consolation prizes at the national level, and teachers with outstanding achievements in training excellent national students.
