Honoring 91 young party members and 10 outstanding young faces of the Capital in 2024

Speaking at the Commendation Ceremony, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Chu Hong Minh said that, proud of the glorious and heroic 95-year tradition of the Hanoi Party Committee, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of the city affirmed its steadfast belief in the leadership of the Hanoi Party Committee; promoted its role and responsibility; with the unceasing efforts of 106 affiliated Youth Unions, over 600,000 members have created special and comprehensive marks in all aspects of work.

The Hanoi City Youth Union is proud to be a unit that has been excellent in all aspects of the Youth Union work and youth movement nationwide for many consecutive years, receiving many noble awards from the Party, State, Central Youth Union and Hanoi City.

In the context of the capital and the country carrying out a revolution in streamlining the apparatus, the Youth Union organization and Youth Union cadres need to proactively innovate, improve operational efficiency, review and rearrange the structure, ensure substantive activities, and align with the needs of union members and young people. Youth Union cadres need to improve their capacity, sense of responsibility, innovate their thinking, and apply technology to optimize management and operation. Pay special attention to the quality of the Youth Union at the grassroots level, strengthen innovation in the Youth Union's operating methods, digitize the management of organizations, cadres, and union members, especially further promote the role of the Executive Committee and Standing Committee at the grassroots level, mobilize strength right on the spot, right from the locality, expand the solidarity front to gather young people, so that the Youth Union operates effectively, efficiently, and effectively in accordance with the spirit of Resolution 18 of the Party Central Committee .

At the Program, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Hanoi City organized a ceremony to honor 91 outstanding young Party members of the Capital and 10 outstanding young faces of the Capital in 2024. The honored examples have portrayed a colorful picture of the young Party members, the young generation of the Capital: pure heart, bright mind - great ambition; pioneering, politically steadfast, capable in the new era; always selflessly contributing to the progress of the young generation; for the development of the Capital and the country.

10 outstanding young faces of the Capital in 2024 were honored:

Field of study and scientific research: Dr. Pham Huy Hieu (Lecturer, Principal Researcher and Director of Science at VinUni University); Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Ngoc Mai (Deputy Head of International Investment Department, Faculty of International Business, Banking Academy).

Field of creative labor and economic development: Director of Nhat Han Printing Company Limited Le Thi Hong.

Defense and security field: Major Nguyen Van Tuan (Lecturer of Physics Department, Faculty of Chemistry - Technical Physics, Military Technical Academy); Major Trinh Minh Tung (Chief of Police of Phu Xuyen town, Phu Xuyen district, Hanoi city).

Sports and physical education: Athlete Le Tuan Minh (Hanoi Chess Team, Hanoi Sports Training and Competition Center, member of the National Chess Team); Player Do Duy Manh (National Football Team).

Cultural and artistic fields: Actress Vu Thi Phuong Thanh (Actress Bao Thanh, People's Police Drama Theater).

Volunteering for community life: Mr. Le Van Phuc (Head of the volunteer group restoring photos of martyrs Mau Hoa Do, Co-founder of Mau Hoa Do group and the project of applying AI technology to support photo restoration, Deputy Head of the group of young people restoring photos of Skyline); Doctor Le Quang Minh (Department of Pediatrics, Gia Lam District General Hospital).
