DTO - In the youthful atmosphere of Youth Month, March Border Month 2025, in harmony with the exciting emulation spirit of the youth of the whole country, on March 19, the Provincial Border Guard Command (BĐBP) organized a ceremony to honor Outstanding Young Faces and Promising Young Faces of the Border Guard of Dong Thap province in 2024.

Attending the ceremony were Colonel Nguyen Thanh Hoa - Provincial Party Committee member, Commander of the Provincial Border Guard; Colonel Nguyen Van Minh - Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard; Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union Nguyen Hoang Minh Tri.

In recent times, the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement of the provincial Border Guard has made many advances and flourishes, always maintaining the political orientation, closely following the unit's tasks; innovating the content and form of activities, affirming good models and examples, creating positive changes in activities, promoting the core role of the youth in the work of managing and protecting national sovereignty and border security and building a comprehensively strong unit "exemplary model".

In the general achievements of the provincial Border Guard youth, typical and advanced youth examples are the core force, pioneering in the youth movement of agencies and units. The Provincial Border Guard Command commended 5 Outstanding Young Faces and 5 Promising Young Faces. These are examples of bravery, ready to fight, attack and suppress crime; taking care of people's health and bringing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws to the people in the border areas; taking care of students in the program "Helping children go to school - Adopted children of border guards"...

At the commendation ceremony, the Provincial Border Guard Command summarized and awarded prizes for the Contest to learn about 50 years of Southern Liberation and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). 100% of the Youth Union branches and grassroots Youth Unions in the Provincial Border Guard launched and propagated to a large number of youth union members and local youth organizations to actively participate. After launching the contest, there were more than 120 entries.

Colonel Nguyen Van Minh - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard awarded prizes to the representative of the group of authors and the winning author of the Contest.

The first prize of the contest belongs to the group of authors from the Training and Mobile Battalion; Lieutenant Chau Thanh Phuong - Captain of the Administrative Control Team, Deputy Secretary of the Cau Muong Border Guard Station's Youth Union won the second prize; Senior Lieutenant Chau Minh Cao - Captain of the Armed Forces Team, Deputy Secretary of the Dinh Ba International Border Guard Station's Youth Union won the third prize.

On behalf of the Party Committee and the Provincial Border Guard Command, Colonel Nguyen Van Minh - Party Committee Secretary, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard acknowledged and commended the achievements and results that the youth of the Provincial Border Guard have achieved in the past time. The youth of the Provincial Border Guard have been playing a very important role together with the entire force in successfully completing the task of managing and firmly protecting the territorial sovereignty and national border security, maintaining political security and social order and safety in the border area; actively volunteering for the community, helping people develop the economy, culture and society in the border area, enhancing the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" in the new situation. The Provincial Border Guard Command organized the commendation of 5 "Outstanding Young Faces" and 5 "Promising Young Faces" in 2024 to recognize and honor the outstanding achievements of typical and advanced examples.

Colonel Nguyen Van Minh - Party Secretary, Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard acknowledged and commended the achievements and results of the provincial Border Guard youth .

Colonel Nguyen Van Minh requested Party committees and commanders at all levels in the provincial Border Guard to strengthen leadership and direction for the work of the Youth Union and youth movements; pay attention to building a strong Youth Union organization, creating a favorable environment and conditions in terms of material and spirit for the activities of the Youth Union organizations.

For youth organizations, it is necessary to continue to thoroughly implement propaganda and education work for cadres and youth union members; at the same time, innovate the content, forms and methods of activities to be rich, lively, exciting, practical and useful, suitable for young people.
