425 senior Party members have just been awarded Party Badges by Party Committees in the province on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025). This is a great honor and pride, because the Party Badge not only recognizes the process of dedication but also serves as a reminder for each Party member to continue to train and strive, keeping their oath to the Party.
A lifetime of keeping the oath of a party member
Mr. Nguyen Huu Tinh (93 years old, Ward 5, Tuy Hoa City) is the only Party member of the City Party Committee to receive the 75-year Party membership badge on February 3. Receiving the Party badge respectfully presented by the Tuy Hoa City Party Committee, Mr. Tinh was extremely moved.
Sharing his feelings at the Party Badge awarding ceremony, he said: Every time I stand on the podium of honor, receiving the sacred Party Badge, many memories of the day I was admitted to the Party come flooding back to me. In July, I started working at the Provincial Post Office, and 4 months later I was admitted to the Party. On November 16, 1949, I recited the sacred oath of a Party member. Time has passed, but I have always maintained the integrity of a Party member, kept the sacred oath before the Party flag, the national flag, the portrait of President Ho Chi Minh, vowing to be a loyal revolutionary soldier in the vanguard of the working class, the working people and the Vietnamese nation for life.
Becoming a party member at a very young age (17 years old), Mr. Tinh did not hesitate to face difficulties and hardships, and was assigned by the organization to take on many important positions. In 1954, he gathered in the North; then went to the Soviet Union to study at university (1960); then returned to teach at the University of Posts and Telecommunications and was assigned to hold the position of Deputy Director of Phu Yen Post Office until his retirement (1992). Since then, he has always actively participated in local activities. 2 of his 4 children joined the Communist Party of Vietnam, continuing the family's revolutionary tradition.
“I hope that the young generation today will maintain their fighting spirit and keep their oath as party members. Everyone has shortcomings, but the most important thing is to never abandon the revolutionary goals they have chosen and maintain the ethics and character of a party member,” Mr. Tinh said.
With the People's Armed Forces Hero Ho Dac Thanh being awarded the 70-year Party membership badge by the Provincial Party Committee on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, his heart was filled with emotion and pride. In his joy, the Party member with five years of Party membership promised that despite his old age, he would always be a typical and exemplary Communist Party member.
Admitted to the Party right on the Phu Yen battlefield, right after the At Lang campaign ended, over the past 70 years, regardless of his position or difficulty, People's Armed Forces Hero Ho Dac Thanh has always upheld the role of a Party member, successfully completing the tasks assigned by the Party, the State and the army. According to the Captain of the No-numbered ship associated with the ships carrying weapons to Vung Ro port, in 2025, our country will enter a new era, an era of national growth, with many things to do, many difficulties and challenges awaiting, requiring Party members to set an example and take the lead to join the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army in firmly entering the new era.
High class people
According to the Party Charter, Party members who have been in revolutionary activities for a long time, have maintained their Party membership, and have been in the Party for 30, 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, or 90 years or more will be awarded the Party Badge. This not only simply represents the number of years in the Party but also is a worthy recognition of the continuous efforts and steadfast loyalty to the noble revolutionary ideals of each Party member.
The Party Badge Awarding Ceremony is solemnly held every year on the occasion of the country's major holidays such as: Founding Day of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3), Birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19), October Revolution of Russia (November 7); becoming an important political activity with profound humanistic meaning.
According to Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, recently, Party committees at all levels in the province have solemnly organized the ceremony to award Party Badges to senior Party members. This is an opportunity for Party committees at all levels to express their deep gratitude for the great contributions of senior Party members; at the same time, remind Party members of their responsibility to continue to maintain their qualities and promote the glorious traditions of the Party. In particular, for Party members who have not yet received the Party Badge, the awarding ceremony is not only an opportunity to congratulate their comrades but also an opportunity for each cadre and Party member to continue to study, practice and strive to follow the example of their predecessors.
Comrade Cao Thi Hoa An emphasized: The significance of awarding the Party Badge is becoming even more necessary when the entire Party is implementing Conclusion 01-KL/TW dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive 05-CT/TW dated May 15, 2016 of the 12th Politburo on promoting the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle in conjunction with Party building and rectification. This will be the driving force for each Party member to constantly strive, contributing to building an increasingly clean and strong Party, successfully carrying out the revolutionary cause, for the goal of "Rich people, strong country, democracy, fairness, civilization", together with the whole country to step forward into a new era of the Vietnamese nation.
| According to the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee, in the Party Badge awarding ceremony to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Provincial Party Committee has 452 Party members in the Party Cells receiving the Party Badge. Of which, 4 Party members received the 75-year Party badge, 1 Party member received the 70-year Party badge, 11 Party members received the 65-year Party badge, 18 Party members received the 60-year Party badge, 24 Party members received the 55-year Party badge, 33 Party members received the 50-year Party badge, 38 Party members received the 45-year Party badge, 145 Party members received the 40-year Party badge and 177 Party members received the 30-year Party badge. |
