T&T Group becomes strategic shareholder of Vietravel Airlines

Vietravel Group Joint Stock Company, T&T Air Transport and Trading Joint Stock Company (T&T Airlines), T&T Super Port and International Logistics Center Limited Liability Company (T&T SuperPort), BVIM Fund Management Joint Stock Company have officially become strategic shareholders of Vietravel Airlines.

Representatives of T&T Group and Vietravel Airlines signed a share transfer contract.

With the successful signing of this share transfer contract, Vietravel Airlines has marked a decisive turning point, serving the long-term development goals and vision 2025-2035 of Vietravel Group. At the same time, this is also an event marking a strategic step for the journey of "going far - going together" between T&T Group and Vietravel Group on the way to make Vietravel Airlines become the leading tourism airline in Vietnam. Thus, the list of shareholders of Vietravel Airlines up to this point includes: Vietravel Group, Vietnam Tourism and Transport Marketing Joint Stock Company - Vietravel, T&T Airlines, T&T SuperPort, BVIM Fund and 2 individual shareholders, Mr. Tran Doan The Duy and Mr. Doan Hai Dang.

The event marks a strategic step for the journey of "going far - going together" between T&T Group and Vietravel Group on the way to making Vietravel Airlines become the leading tourism airline in Vietnam.

Speaking at the event, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel Group, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Vietravel Airlines Nguyen Quoc Ky said that the participation of three strategic shareholders T&T Airlines, T&T SuperPort and BVIM Fund will open up new opportunities for Vietravel Airlines to enhance competitiveness, expand its flight network and improve service quality. This not only contributes to meeting the increasing travel needs of passengers but also affirms the position of Vietravel Airlines, the first tourism airline in Vietnam in the domestic and international aviation market. "The transfer of these shares is also an important step in realizing the investment and development plan of Vietravel Airlines. With the support of new shareholders, we believe in the bright and sustainable future of Vietravel Airlines in the coming time," Mr. Nguyen Quoc Ky affirmed.

Vietravel Airlines will become an important link in the chain of infrastructure-logistics-aviation projects that have been and are being implemented by T&T Group. In April 2020, the project to establish Vietravel Airlines was approved by the Government with a total investment of 700 billion VND, the main shareholder is Vietnam Transport Marketing and Tourism Joint Stock Company - Vietravel (holding 100% of the charter capital). In November 2024, Vietravel Airlines was officially approved to increase its charter capital to 1,300 billion VND. For nearly 4 years of operation, Vietravel Airlines has successfully connected two major centers, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, to domestic and international tourist cities such as Da Nang, Da Lat, Quy Nhon, Nha Trang, Phu Quoc, Hue and Bangkok (Thailand).
