The audience's love made the two young actors Trinh Thao (as Nhi) and Le Hai (as Mr. Chao) feel like they were flying with their characters.
If Mr. Chao and Nhi don't get together, they will quit the movie.
Halfway through, Wish We Could Fly Together begins to be filled with events. Although the film has a bit of a dark tone, every time Mr. Chao and Nhi appear, the film becomes… adorable.

The sweet interaction between Mr. Chao and Nhi made people constantly ship them. Some people even said that if Mr. Chao and Nhi couldn't be together, they should stop watching the movie.
Before the audience's affection for him, Le Hai was happy and surprised. This is Le Hai's first leading role in a TV series. Before, Le Hai was only a model, acting in MVs and web dramas.
Talking about his relationship with Mr. Chao, Le Hai said: "I studied in Ms. Kathy Uyen's acting class. Director Phan Dang Di came to the class, observed, then informed me to go to the casting for Uoc Minh Cung Bay . Then I got the role, and was able to attend the teacher's acting class for a few months."

A brand new actor participating in a long-running film for the first time couldn't help but be surprised. Le Hai tried his best in every scene. "Before acting, I asked everyone in detail about how to act and what it was like. But after discussing, it was very different when I was on set," Le Hai laughed, recalling his memories:
"The director always reminded us to act more interestingly, to act until the audience believed it was real. There was a scene where I ran into a jackfruit tree and got a bump on my head. At first, I acted a little bit technically, but the director said it looked fake and we had to really run into it. So I ran into the tree 5 or 7 times and got a bump on my head."
As for Trinh Thao, the days filming in Dong Nai are unforgettable memories. "We considered each other as brothers, played together like men," Thao laughed humorously.
She said: "While filming in the countryside, there was Nhi and Hoan (actor Vo Dien Gia Huy) and the neighbor Tuan (Lanh Thanh).
While filming, it rained heavily and had to stop filming. We ran out into the street to get wet like kids, and even asked the director to film this scene of us getting wet in the rain. If it was appropriate, we could put it in the movie.
I'm also curious if this scene will appear?".
Dreams are what make us grow
Le Hai has fair, scholarly skin and single-lidded eyes that fit the Taiwanese role. But the most impressive thing about him is his deep dimples. Whenever he smiles, Mr. Chao looks adorable, no longer the image of a scheming and womanizing right-hand man to the chairman.

Being from Hanoi, his parents were farmers, life was not easy, so at the age of 16, Hai went to work as a waiter in a coffee shop after school.
After finishing a multimedia design class, he worked for a wedding photography studio, then switched to selling clothes.
Someone saw that he had a good-looking face and advised him to become a model. After that, Hai competed in Next Top Model and Vietnam Supermodel but did not get high rankings.
"After working as a model for a few months, in 2016 I thought that Saigon would open up many opportunities for modeling, so I decided to go to Saigon to start a career."
After 8 years of struggling in Saigon, Le Hai commented: "If you work hard in Saigon, you will have enough to live on, without lacking food and clothing.
But now there are many models, and the work is very competitive. Sometimes I feel exhausted. But the role in Wish We Could Fly Together helps me strengthen my thoughts and confidently continue my journey."
Trinh Thao, who plays Nhi, has a little more acting experience than Le Hai. In 9th grade, Thao acted in movies. In her first movie, My Nhan Sai Thanh , Thao only said one word "da".
The 27-year-old petite actress is from Thanh Hoa.
Her parents went to the South to start a business, Thao stayed in the countryside with her grandparents. At the end of 7th grade, her parents took her to Saigon to live and study.
Thao said she loved acting since she was little, and signed up to join groups recruiting extras so that if any film crew needed her, they could call her.
Trinh Thao emotionally confided: "I love Nhi of Uoc Minh Bay Coong because Nhi is very similar to me. Nhi is not too beautiful, not tall but dreams of becoming a flight attendant. She overcame all difficulties and prejudices to make her dream come true.

"I also dreamed of becoming an actor, but when I took the entrance exam to the theater and cinema school, I failed, perhaps partly because of my lack of height.
That day I cried for a whole week, thinking that God would not let me do this job. But after that I did not give up, continued to pursue the profession by diligently casting. I signed up for short-term acting courses to improve my skills."
After her efforts, Trinh Thao got a role in the movie Thang Nam Ruc Ro, then many TV series, most recently Cay Tao No Hoa, Yeu Truoc Day Cuoi...
"Dreams are what help us grow and develop. Because of dreams, Nhi tries hard, lives honestly, and lives better. Me too," Trinh Thao said.
