This afternoon, January 3, Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Long Hai and Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission Ho Thi Thu Hang chaired a conference to review the work of inspection, supervision and party discipline enforcement in 2024 and deploy tasks for 2025. The conference newspaper reported: In 2024, the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Party committees, Party organizations, and Party Inspection Commissions at all levels in the province have comprehensively implemented the tasks of inspection, supervision, and enforcement of Party discipline.
Of which, Party committees at all levels inspected 286 Party organizations at all levels and 560 Party members. Through inspection, Party committees at all levels concluded that most Party organizations and Party members had performed the inspection content quite well; there was 1 Party member who had committed violations and shortcomings but not to the extent that disciplinary action was required. At the same time, Party committees at all levels and Party cells inspected 8 Party organizations and 22 Party members when there were signs of violations. Through inspection, it was concluded that 5 Party members had to be disciplined.
In addition, the Inspection Committee at all levels has inspected signs of violations against 10 party organizations and 34 party members. Through inspection, it was concluded that disciplinary action must be taken against 1 party organization and 17 party members.
Regarding the enforcement of party organization and party member discipline, in 2024, party committees at all levels and party cells disciplined 2 party organizations by reprimand; disciplined 365 party members, including 58 party committee members at all levels.
Disciplinary measures include 310 reprimands, 45 warnings, 6 dismissals and 6 party members expulsion. The main violations were related to maintaining character, ethics, lifestyle, things party members are not allowed to do, violating population policies, family planning... The Inspection Committee at all levels also disciplined 1 party organization by reprimand and 39 party members.
The field of party and party member supervision was carried out quite well and regularly. Party committees and organizations at all levels supervised 350 party organizations and 571 party members; Inspection Commissions at all levels supervised 260 party organizations and 365 party members. At the same time, 80 complaints, denunciations and recommendations were received.
In 2024, Party committees at all levels directed the Inspection Committee to monitor the implementation of regulations on asset and income declaration of 131 Party members who are cadres under the management of Party committees; the inspection results showed no violations.

The conference spent a lot of time discussing and proposing solutions to implement tasks in 2025 to improve the quality and effectiveness of inspection, supervision and party discipline enforcement.
The conference agreed on 11 groups of tasks, and also accepted the opinions of Central Inspection Commission member Vo Thai Nguyen on key tasks of inspection, supervision and party discipline enforcement in 2025.
Concluding the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Long Hai commended Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Commissions at all levels for effectively performing their tasks in 2024, and acknowledged the opinions and proposals at the conference.
Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Long Hai said: Inspection and supervision is the Party's leadership method, an important part of the entire Party building work. Therefore, in 2024, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Commissions at all levels in the province have paid attention to leading, directing, and implementing inspection and supervision work with great effort, determination, and responsibility, and comprehensively completing all tasks.
Regarding the key tasks in 2025, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Long Hai requested Party committees, Party organizations, and Inspection Commissions at all levels, especially leaders, to continue to raise awareness and responsibility in inspection and supervision work. Continue to strictly implement regulations, rules, and instructions of the Central Committee, Politburo, Secretariat, Central Inspection Commission, and provincial regulations on inspection, supervision, and party discipline work.
Proactively advise the Party Committee to deploy the inspection and supervision program for 2025 to avoid overlap and ensure comprehensiveness in all fields; focus on specialized inspection and supervision in areas prone to negativity such as project investment, land management, resources, minerals, construction, finance, budget use, etc.
In particular, in 2025, it is necessary to focus on inspecting and supervising the dissemination and implementation of Directive No. 35-CT/TW of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress and the implementation of the conclusions of the Politburo, the Central Steering Committee, and the Provincial Steering Committee on summarizing the implementation of Resolution 18-NQ/TW of the 12th Central Committee on streamlining the apparatus of the political system to be streamlined and operate effectively and efficiently.
Strongly innovate inspection and supervision methods in a comprehensive, synchronous, regular and continuous manner, following the motto "supervision must be expanded, inspection must have focus and key points", on the principle of "no forbidden areas, no exceptions", strictly handle violations on the principle that if there are violations, there must be conclusions and handling. Promote the application of information technology and digital transformation to improve the quality, effectiveness and efficiency of inspection, supervision and discipline work of the Party.
Inspection Committees at all levels shall strengthen their grasp of the situation, proactively detect and conduct inspections of Party organizations and Party members when there are signs of violations in order to promptly conclude and handle them; thoroughly resolve complaints, denunciations and reflections, especially complaints related to Party Committee personnel and the new term Inspection Committee personnel. Resolutely and strictly handle those who take advantage of the implementation of the organization restructuring and streamlining to make false complaints and denunciations, affecting Party organizations and Party members.
Strengthening coordination in inspection, supervision and party discipline work to be truly effective and tight. Implementing well the coordination mechanism between the Inspection Committee and inspection, investigation, prosecution and trial agencies in inspection, supervision and prevention of corruption, waste and negativity.
Implement the organization of a streamlined, strong, efficient, effective and efficient apparatus to meet new task requirements, and build a team of inspectors at all levels with sufficient qualities and capacities to meet the requirements of the assigned tasks.
