Pursuant to Resolution No. 22/2021/NQ-HDND dated December 9, 2021 of the Provincial People's Council on promulgating regulations on policies to support and encourage agricultural and rural development in Phu Tho province, in 2024, the total support fund for projects will reach more than 42 billion VND.
The policy to support improving the quality of grapefruit during the business period according to Resolution 22 helps people in Hung Xuyen commune, Doan Hung district to invest in intensive cultivation to increase the productivity and quality of grapefruit, meeting market requirements.
Specifically, it has supported 8 projects associated with 52.5 hectares of land lease; over 2,500 hectares of grapefruit to improve the quality of grapefruit during the business period, 350 hectares of grapefruit according to VietGAP standards; 675 hectares of large timber forest conversion, over 13.6 thousand hectares of sustainable forest certification; 293 hectares of cinnamon development; OCOP rewards for 112 products (109 products recognized for the first time; 3 upgraded products) with a total cost of 42.6 billion VND.
This support encourages agricultural and rural development in the spirit of Resolution 22, promoting the formation and development of concentrated, large-scale commodity production areas associated with product preservation, processing and consumption; key crops and livestock are produced in a concentrated commodity-oriented manner; encouraging the development of typical products with local advantages while helping to promote linkages along the value chain from production to product preservation, processing and consumption.
