On the occasion of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2024), on the afternoon of January 12, the Standing Committee of the Ha Tinh City Party Committee solemnly held a ceremony to award the 75-year Party membership badge to comrade Tran Quoc Thai - former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the People's Council of Nghe Tinh province; former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, former Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Tinh province; former Special Envoy of the Central Secretariat. Comrade Tran Quoc Thai (born 1932) joined the Party on September 16, 1950 at the Bac Kinh village Party cell, Ich Hau commune, Can Loc district (now Loc Ha district).
He was former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the People's Council of Nghe Tinh province; former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the People's Council, former Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Tinh province.
He is currently a Party member of the Party Cell of Residential Group 8, Nam Ha Ward (Ha Tinh City). Up to now, at the age of 92, with 75 years of Party membership, he is still a shining example for future generations to learn and follow.
The awarding of the noble 75-year Party membership badge shows the recognition and respect of the Party, State and People for the contributions of comrade Tran Quoc Thai to the revolutionary cause of the Party, the nation in general and Nghe An and Ha Tinh provinces in particular.

Not only that, after retiring, with his experience, comrade Tran Quoc Thai as well as former provincial leaders regularly paid attention to and closely followed the general movement; contributed many opinions to the province's major policies; encouraged, motivated, helped, and gave advice in the leadership, direction, and management of current provincial leaders.
The Provincial Party Secretary affirmed that, promoting the tradition of the homeland, learning from and inheriting the career of previous generations of cadres and comrade Tran Quoc Thai, the Party Committee and the People of Ha Tinh continue to unite, unify, and focus on the task of socio-economic development, taking care of building the Party and the political system to be increasingly clean and strong, maintaining national defense and security, bringing the province to comprehensive and sustainable development, and soon becoming a well-off province in the country.
