Awarding press prizes to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the province and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Quang Nam Party Committee

Attending the event were comrades: Luong Nguyen Minh Triet - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Le Van Dung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, along with comrades in the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and leaders of departments, branches, and localities.

According to the organizers, although it was the first time the award was held, it received 100 works from 71 authors and groups of authors from many press agencies across the country and non-professional journalists participating in the award.

Of which, the printed newspaper category has the most entries with 44 works by 26 authors and groups of authors; visual newspapers have 22 works by 22 authors and groups of authors; electronic newspapers have 16 works by 11 authors and groups of authors; spoken newspapers have 6 works by 6 authors and groups of authors and press photos have 12 works by 6 authors and groups of authors.

The works participating in the competition are all of outstanding quality, closely following the theme; promoting and introducing the potential, strengths, orientation and development opportunities of Quang Nam in the new period according to the Quang Nam Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050.

After receiving and selecting, the organizing committee awarded 2 A prizes, 9 B prizes, 11 C prizes and 16 consolation prizes to authors and groups of authors with excellent works from press agencies in the province and region.

Of which, 2 first prizes were awarded to authors Le Trung Viet (Nong Thon Viet Magazine) with the work "Nhip cau bac nhung nhip doi", in the print newspaper category; Nguyen Van Cuong (Thanh Nien Newspaper) with the work "Planning of Quang Nam province - taking people and businesses as the center of service", in the electronic newspaper category.

The Press Award to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee and the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Quang Nam Province was organized with the orientation of propaganda content, praising the history of the revolutionary struggle of the army and people of Quang Nam in the cause of fighting for national independence under the leadership of the Party and the great achievements of Quang Nam over 50 years of construction and development since the liberation day (March 24, 1975), especially after more than 27 years since the re-establishment of the province (January 1, 1997).

Through the works, we spread the act of gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of generations of cadres, soldiers and people through the revolutionary stages; arouse national pride and the glorious traditions of the land and people of Quang Nam; encourage, motivate and encourage cadres, party members and all classes of people in the province, Quang Nam people living, studying and working at home and abroad to strive and actively contribute to the development of Quang Nam homeland in the new period.

Quang Nam Newspaper won 2 B prizes, 2 C prizes and 7 consolation prizes.

At the award ceremony, Quang Nam Newspaper was honored to receive many awards from the organizing committee; including 2 B prizes, 2 C prizes and 7 consolation prizes. Specifically, 2 B prizes were awarded to the group of authors Alang Nguoc - Nguyen Doan with the series of works on the topic "Building a team of ethnic minority cadres: Harmonizing structure and quality", printed newspaper; the group of authors Doan Dao - Ho Quan with the series of articles "Party members at the forefront", electronic newspaper.

Two C prizes were awarded to the works “Sát trung tình quân dân” (Alang Nguoc - Thanh Cong) and “Đổi tay qua năm tháng” (Xuan Hien - Le Trong Khang), in the press photo category; along with 7 consolation prizes.
