The Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund Organizing Committee has awarded 360 scholarships to students and postgraduates from Tay Son District (Binh Dinh) to encourage the learning movement and develop local education.
On the 4th day of the Lunar New Year (February 1), Tay Son District (Binh Dinh) organized a meeting and awarded 360 scholarships (total value of 527 million VND) from the Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund to graduate students, students and pupils who are children of the district studying at universities, high schools and junior high schools nationwide with excellent achievements in the 2024-2025 school year.
Mr. Bui Van My, Vice Chairman of Tay Son District People's Committee, Chairman of the Board of Management of Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund, awarded scholarships to students.
Of which, 3 scholarships are awarded to doctoral students, each worth 10 million VND; 5 scholarships are awarded to secondary and high school students who won second and third prizes at the provincial level, each worth 3 million VND; 4 scholarships are awarded to high school valedictorians and 3 valedictorians entering grade 10 in the 2024-2025 school year, each worth 2 million VND; 63 scholarships are awarded to university graduates with good or excellent grades, each worth 3 million VND.
In addition, there are 27 scholarships awarded to students in the 2024-2025 school year who achieved the title of 5 good students and 255 students with good and excellent grades in the 2023-2024 school year, each worth 1 million VND.
Upon its establishment in November 2023, Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund mobilized 620 million VND, organizing the first scholarship award ceremony on the occasion of the Spring of Giap Thin 2024 with 145 scholarships, totaling 250 million VND. In 2024, Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund continued to mobilize 987 million VND, bringing the current total fund amount to more than 1.3 billion VND.
Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund operates to encourage and honor students, undergraduates, and graduate students from Tay Son district.
Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund operates not for profit but for the purpose of encouraging, supporting scholarships, awarding prizes, and honoring students from Tay Son district studying at secondary and high schools in the district, public universities nationwide, students studying postgraduate courses with high achievements, students studying abroad...
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Bui Van My, Vice Chairman of Tay Son District People's Committee, Chairman of the Management Board of Nguyen Hue Scholarship Fund, called on all classes of people in the district, Tay Son district's children living and working at home and abroad, businesses, philanthropists... to continue to pay attention to and support the cause of cultivating people and the work of promoting learning, promoting talents, and building a learning society of Tay Son district to develop sustainably.
