Binh Dinh urgently hands over highway rest stop site before April 10

The leaders of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee assigned Phu My district to continue approving the plan and implementing compensation and site clearance support for the expressway rest stop, handing it over to the investor before April 10.

On March 28, the People's Committee of Binh Dinh province announced that it had just issued a document announcing the conclusion of Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang at the meeting to inspect the implementation of compensation, site clearance and resettlement (SAR) for the North-South expressway project in the Eastern region in the 2021-2025 period, through the province.

The rest stop on the Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon highway is located in Phu My district, Binh Dinh.

According to the leaders of Binh Dinh Provincial People's Committee, the localities and related units have basically completed the compensation and site clearance work for the project, handing over the entire site to the investor for construction. However, there are still some minor problems on the site that have not been resolved in a timely manner, affecting the implementation of some project items.

Therefore, the local authorities and relevant units are required to continue to focus on directing and operating resolutely, and thoroughly resolving existing problems. In particular, the People's Committee of Hoai Nhon town is assigned to coordinate and mobilize 4 households (Le Thi Thuong, Nguyen Thi Loc in Hoai Hao ward; Le Thanh Tu, Hoai Thanh Tay ward; Thai Van Chuong, Hoai Tan ward) not to obstruct the construction. In case the households do not comply, the localities will deploy a construction protection plan to build the items that are being hindered by construction obstruction, to be completed in March 2025. Report the implementation results to the Provincial People's Committee before April 5.

The People's Committee of An Nhon town is responsible for urgently organizing enforcement or construction protection for Tran Quang Tuan's household (belonging to the land plot of Ms. Pham Thi Yen's household) to implement the construction of branch road 2 at the intersection of National Highway 19, to be completed in March 2025. Report the implementation results to the Provincial People's Committee before April 5.

The leaders of Binh Dinh province assigned the People's Committee of Phu My district to urgently focus on directing the continued approval of the plan and implementation of compensation and support for site clearance at the rest stop, handing over the site to the investor to implement the project before April 10. Proactively coordinate in registering capital to pay compensation for site clearance and request Project Management Board 85 (investor) to promptly arrange funds for payment.

The North-South Expressway through Binh Dinh is more than 118km long, including 3 component projects: Quang Ngai - Hoai Nhon, Hoai Nhon - Quy Nhon and Quy Nhon - Chi Thanh.
